Ooooh, I love this. I'm going to try this tonight.

I've had a similar experience, but only down 50-ish lbs. Band size is down, cup size is the same. And a good push up balconette bra puts them right where they need to be. The poster above me mentioned the Panache bras, gorgeous, good quality and they really emphasize your assets. Also, I've had absolutely no complaints…

I am having this issue too! The temp has dropped and where last year all my plumpiness was keeping me toasty, a lot of my plumpiness is gone and I am COLD. Maybe if I got a 50 lb coat it would keep me warm? I all seriousness it is going to reach the low 50s here today and I really looked hard at my UGGs this morning.…

I run in intervals (nowhere near your speed!) and have a playlist that I've put together to match those. i have to change it up every once in a while but when one of those pump-me-up songs comes on it can really get me going. Also, at my gym the treadmills look out at the basketball courts, soooo... I can usually find…

Hi, would love to add friends!

Not super experienced here, but my HRM does something similar. It actually gives me a higher calorie amount that the MFP database for my runs. That said, I did go through the HRM setup to determine my burn settings. I run for about 65 minutes (a pretty slow run with occasional OMGI'mgoingtodie breaks). It logs me at about…

Age: 43 Height: 5'2.5" (That half matters. All you shorties get it.) SW: 185 CW: 137 GW: 130 (right now. my original GW was 140 and I've been adjusting down.) I am a curvy body type, so I'm watching because I don't want to get too thin. I've worked out enough (running) that I feel like I have lots of loose jelly fat left,…

I started in April at 184 lbs. I went with a 1200 cal diet and really, for a couple of months, didn't exercise. As long as I made sure I was hitting my calorie max, I kept losing pretty rapidly (the 2lb per week or so). My goal at that point was 145. Mid-summer I started walking. About the same distance as you and by that…

I run alone and with music. Definitely with music. It can pump me up just when I need it. :) I put my play list together based on what my pace is and when i find myself slowing/speeding. Sometimes a certain song gets me going. I'm doing a 5k this weekend with my nieces and since I'm still running in intervals (7-8 min…

This made me laugh out loud. I'm not going as a Hobbit or a Munchkin, but I am going as Hit Girl from Kick *kitten* (the character is a child). 5'2" here. I love my height. And the more I lose and curvier I get, the more offers I get to come change my light bulbs/help me reach the top shelf/clean the gutters or whatever…

This was awesome to find today. Have a date at a Taphouse later and this just answered (almost) all the lingering questions I have about the night!

1/4 of the way is 25% done so good for you! I've lost just over 40 lbs and I'm within 10 lbs of my goal (though my goal may change as I get closer). Here are the things that have changed for me: 1. I have a TON more energy. I'm working out and eating better and I can feel it. I'm not a gym person, have never been a gym…

We have LOTS of similarities. 5'2" also, and FINALLY someone else with a 130's goal like me (I keep seeing 115-125, but I want to keep some of my curves.) I started back in April and have gone from 184 to 144... now on those last 10 lbs. Honestly for the last couple of weeks, I've been at the 1200 for a 1lb a week loss,…

Funny you post this... I just started a class like that last night. It was a mix of cardio and hand weights, plus some ab floor exercises. It was a good workout (like you, I've lost 35 lbs from walking in past few months and wanted to tone). I tried starting to lift on my own a few weeks ago, but I think this will be…

I totally get where you're coming from. I'm 5'2" as well and when I started at 185, the 40 lbs down to 145 was overwhelming enough. When I thought about 135 and that being 50 lbs, it made me feel like that might be something I couldn't accomplish and I was feeling defeated before I started. So. I set my original goal at…

^^^^ These are examples of my conversations every day at work now. I also get "You've really shaped up and you look great! What are you doing?" Thank you very much. I'm just counting calories and eating within a certain range. ***Blank looks*** Then, "Well, when are you going to stop? How will you maintain?" Ummmmmmmmm.
