Great job!

I love that you love your little girl so much :) I would recommend taking her to the vet and having at least some basic blood work done to check her kidneys, liver, etc. before the flight. If her blood work looks good and she is otherwise perfectly healthy, there is no reason that the flight be hard on her. I know you were…

I'm sorry for your loss :(

Yep! Glad someone said it!!! I hate PETA and I'm a Veterinarian.

You'll start out hating every pregnant woman and believe me, they will suddenly be EVERYWHERE. Then, you'll start to feel more hopeful for yourself and maybe you won't hate pregnant women as much, lol. I'm at the stage where I don't hate pregnant women anymore, but nothing makes me cringe more than girls saying "we're…

Speechless. Sorry for your loss, but a visit to the vet weeks ago was in order.

That makes sense....you have. "Six-pack" because you're skinny rather than because of the size of your muscles as a result of hard work. Got it. I don't agree, however, with the arbitrary 200-pound limit as another user mentioned. A 5"5 guy who is 170 with great abs is not the same as a skinny 6'4 guy with abs at 170.

Good for u for sticking to it - the same happened to me a couple of years ago and I literally stopped my 16 miles run to call me husband to pick me up. That was the last time I ran in public and I remain paranoid. We just got a treadmill from my brother and I'm hoping to be able to get back to running and lose this weight.…

Me :) feel free to add!

I would feed her separately for a few days just to get an idea of how much she is truly eating but yes, she's likely getting food elsewhere. Most cats hunt, so she's probably getting calories from mice/birds. Also, 5kg might be her healthy weight - dies she also feel fat, did the veterinarian tell you she is overweight?

This was a much needed post!

This is a great idea! I decided to take a week off of logging while I retry P1...I think trying to be perfect, logging, exercising, having a FT job, fur-kids, household chores, etc...it all becomes overwhelming and I tend to just let it all go. I'll log here with you for my first two weeks of P1! I'm not worrying about fat…

Very cool!

^^^ yup! I'm doing the South Beach Diet, which means I automatically won't be eating gluten in the first few weeks...but it isn't the lack of gluten that counts, it is the effect that removing these carbs has on your blood glucose levels and the fact that it essentially forces the body to burn its own, stored glucose…

HA HA! Love that...a cat would totally do that :)

What I love about Fall/Winter is the soups...veggie, beef stew full of veggies, chicken soup, etc. A family tradition of ours is chicken soup with egg...whisk up an egg and fry it like an omelette...let it cool and cut into long strips. Put in your bowl and serve the chicken soup over it. Crockpot! I like to take a meat…

Hi, everyone! Positive Polly here :) I took the day off to really meditate yesterday....shut the phone off, went to the lake. We're starting fertility acupuncture and realized I am hypothyroid (actually have been, for a while). Tuesday was just really emotional - this whole baby making journey is not easy when you're not…

I'm really embarrassed to say I already caved :( I went out for lunch with people to a deli and got carried away. Damn it. Can I erase today? I've felt super bad about it all day...I did so great these last two days! I've been really good, otherwise, and not going to let this indiscretion ruin this for me. Mostly I want to…

I'm so excited to be on this plan with all of you! I went ahead and started yesterday for a kick-start, but counting today as Day 1! My snacks for the day: HB eggs (2), Morningstar farms bacon strips (love those!) and a serving of almonds. For dinner, I'm planning on grilled chicken thighs. One piece of advice: plan your…

I got tired of shelling out and not losing!

Im 5'1 and in the past, looked great at 135-ish...even though that's the top end of where I should be. I'd like to get down to 125, maybe less.

Perfection.

Yep. A whole closet full. :)
