  • Reporting in for Wednesday and Thursday. Wed --- 2 mile walk Thurs ---- 2.5 mile walk/jog, All arm exercises completed Did you get my Monday and Tuesday reports. I forgot what they were so I didn't repost them? I'm feeling like Superwoman now! My dog is happier now too.
  • I had 2 eggo whole wheat waffles with green tea. sometimes a bagel thin with low fat cream cheese. heck sometimes I have pasta for breakfast. I find eating good in the morning helps me to stay full longer throughout the day. I'm not so hungry and I can burn those carbs off all day instead of a cup of pasta sitting in my…
  • Tuesday. I did 1.5 miles of elliptical at a lvl 6/12. I did 2 sets of 15 for all arm workouts. I did CLX today as well which worked arms so I didn't want to overdo the arms. Feeling good though and strong.
  • I'm going with option B. Monday ---2miles down and all dumbbell challenges completed. OUch my arms are sore! mini challenge is no unhealthy snacks for me. I'm using a sledgehammer to crack those zombies to pieces.
  • For me my back-story is, I was the skinny girl. I am short and was very petite. I ate whatever and rarely was into fitness. Then I got married, moved overseas. And that was hard for me, gained 5 pounds, then 10. Then I got pregnant and then pregnant again. After that I had the hardest time losing weight as I wasn't used to…
  • I will be using my elliptical for this challenge. But does anyone know how long it would take to jog 2 miles? That will help me figure out how long and what lvl to go on elliptical.
  • Anna, I would never suggest you go spend money for this challenge. but it might actually be a good investment for you. Have you heard of Leslie Sansone's walk at home DVD's? I have the 5 mile walk and it's awesome when you're just starting to get fit. I hurt my back when I was 19 and this video helped me get some strength…
  • Sorry I haven't been posting. this weekend through me off a bit. My name is my user name..Makena. And I'm from California. I have also been lucky enough to live overseas. I think maybe it's best to say I'm from a little bit of everywhere as I move every 3 years. :) crazy life. I"m ashamed I didn't do as well as some of you…
  • I am not happy I am getting smaller boobs. They are the first to go for me. I love my C's and now they are almost B's. NOT HAPPY at all.
  • Sadly that was the first thing to go. I went form a C cup to a B. I'm so sad. I really wanted my belly to go but that's still hanging on. grrrr
  • I switch mine up too. I do Chaleane Extreme, Turbo Jam, elliptical, walking, & pilates. I get bored easily on one routine so I have to mix it up. I don't zig zag on purpose. Somedays I eat 1600 calories and some 1300 or within that range. I usually eat only half my calories back from exersise but I go with what feels…
  • I'm at 800 I think in steps. working my butt of in other areas too. glad we have a place to chat.
  • You can always make excuses as to why you can't lose weight. There will always be temptations with or without a relationship. It's all in the mind and you need to have control over your own mind. Don't be a slave to those excuses and temptations. You need to focus and put YOU in charge. I made my husband chicken enchiladas…
  • So excited about this. Love the story line..makes it more interesting and fun. I'll be posting my results most likely at the end of the day if you don't mind. Most of my workouts are after my kids are in bed. Looking forward to watching TV and doing my stair steppers. :) Go Team Explosives!!!
  • I played for years. I loved my deathnight. But, I haven't played in the last 6 months. It's a pretty addicting game. Don't forget about the real world out there. And like Zoe said I will always have a place in my heart for WoW.
  • I'm only losing about 30-35 pounds. I don't think I'll have the excess skin problem from that. But, from having my kids I have extra skin that won't ever go away without a tummy tuck. Which is what I plan on getting when I reach my goal weight. I know it's expensive but I think will be so worth it. I want to enjoy my new…
  • I think that they mean broccoli causes bloating after eating it. But, there is no way a healthy food is going to make you fat. The bloating is not long term and will go away after digested. They just mean don't hit the beach in a bikini right after eating broccoli, not that you should never eat it.
  • It is just for flavor. It's sooo yummy. There's nothing bad in it and 0 calories.
  • Count me in as well. add me guys/ladies!!
  • I make sure to workout during "that time" of the month. I feel better once it's done and proud of myself. I don't have as much weight fluctation eigher when i workout then. And I force myself not to give in to those cravings. Be strong you can do it.
  • I think it depends on when you go to sleep. The same cut off can't be for everyone. I eat dinner anywhere from 6-8pm. And I still have a post workout snack after that. I workout sometimes at 10-11pm. sometimes earlier if I'm lucky. I just make sure after my shake that I don't get to bed for at least an hour after that.
  • I measure, both arms, chest, waist at belly button, hips, right below booty, and each thigh. But, don't measure after you work out because, you're muscles are swollen right then.
  • I use Slimming Formula from Beachbody. It in know way elevates my heart rate(at least I haven't noticed). And the very slight warming effect feels good. It's the warm feeling you get when you first start to workout. I don't recommend just trying any as I have before and did get that elevated heart rate. I think that can be…
  • that sounds like too much work. just measure the way you are now (all the way around) and go down from there. I'm currently 136 and fit into a size 8. When i was 139-141 I was a 10. My hips are 39inches right now in my size 8. Try not to make this too complicated. Just go one inch at at time until you feel healthy and fit.
  • that's a good question. I'm also a hot sauce lover. I used to have high blood pressure but I never gave up my hot sauce. Just couldn't do it. I think even if you made your own the salt would still be there for it to be good. When I started working out more my blood pressure went down and I'm off of my pills. I watch the…
  • I would go. I have a weight loss hypnosis on my Ipod and love it. I don't get hypnotized with the ipod but it makes me fall asleep and I do find myself thinking about the way I want to be more. Which in turns helps me to eat better and be more fit. I am curious if actually having someone there in person might work better.…
  • Like everyone else said it's normal. It's not the best feeling in the world but trust us, your body will get used to it and soon you won't have jello legs. But, don't forget that as soon as your workout becomes to easy and you don't feel anything anymore it's time to switch routines. good luck.
  • I weigh myself daily. However, if you do weigh daily you will need to know that your weight changes a little up or down depending on the day or even time of day. I do it just so I can know my baseline and get to know how my body changes. So don't get frustrated if one day you think you've lost 2 pounds only to gain it back…
