  • Hi. I've been on here for a few days after a huge break. (years) I fell off the health wagon after some injuries and health issues. So far so good a few days in. Last time I tried several different ways to lose weight, and finally found a way for me to make it work. I eat most of the same things, just alter them a bit and…
  • I'm 40 and just getting back into MFP after a 6 year break. I need friends here so please add me. I do my workouts at home and through walking.
  • I split my workout up at home. I jogged in place while watching my shows. 10 minutes here, 20 minutes there. It goes by fast when watching something. Anything is better than nothing imo.
  • I was losing weight and doing so good before I got pregnant with my third kid. But, after I gave birth my bones were hurting so bad and my ligaments got weak. No idea why. So, I gained a bunch of weight because I never got to workout from pain. But, slowly I think the pain is going away and I'm back at it again, 2 1/2…
  • It's not healthy. But, I pop some popcorn and it fills me up. I don't add anything to it and it's just plain. I get the single serving bag.
  • I start on July 1st. But, I tried today to see what it would be like nutrition wise. It's totally different from how I normally eat. But, I think I can do this. I'm looking for 21 day fitness friends. So, please add me if you are trying it out.
  • I just started up again after a 3 year break. I need friends again. :)
  • I need motivation as well. I lost 15 pounds with mfp 3 years ago. Then go pregnant and now I'm stuck again. Just started logging today and also doing the 21 day fitness program. I will add you as a friend. It really does help with support. My big goal is to lose at least 45-50lbs.
  • I just had myself a yummy Fiber One cookie. I'm also making bread right now. Yep...bread. Multi grain of course. Loaded with carbs though. I eat spaghetti and i hate veggies. So, I sneak them into my diet. Working out is a total pain in the beginning. But, with the right mind set, it can be fun. Joining a challenge group…
  • My cousin is addicted to crossfit. But, if it's a cult I say it's a good one to join. He's super buff and has met so many great people.
  • To be healthy. And also to look good.
  • I'm a single mom with 3 kids. Busy life. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can find someone who isn't scared off with someone with 3 kids.
  • I'm an ex military wife. I lived on Guam, Japan, & Sicily for a straight total of 8 years. I went to Paris as well.
  • I'm 5 ft. I had my third baby 4 months ago. I just got divorced and I've never been so determined to get back on track. I have before pics stashed somewhere on my computer. I'm a size 10 right now though. Can't wait to fit in a size 4 again. Maybe even a 2.
  • Get a resistance band or light weights and do light exercises while watching a good movie. Walk in place and enjoy a slow pace workout. I always feel less guilty while watching tv. I'm not sitting on my butt. And also if you want that soup eat it. Keep it to just one though.
  • I'm using the Nutrisystem diet. I love it. And I personally love the food. It is not for everyone though. I am only doing 1-2 months for a kick start. I would not recommend for long term. Yes, it does teach you portion control. My body is adjusting to the smaller portions and visually I see I am getting less. I add in lean…
  • I was never a fan of almonds but I have learned to incorporate them into my diet. You only need a handful to get you through to your next meal. And there are so many different flavors. Trader Joe's has some yummy, spicy ones. You can still eat what you love and eat less but mix it up with a few new options that you haven't…
  • I have my calories set for 1400 a day. Then with added exercise I get more. With the working out it can take me up to 1800 calories a day. I have done this for a week now and my milk supply hasn't gone down. But, I'm doing light workouts for long periods. Not sure if that helps verses shorter more strenuous workouts. It's…
  • I don't normally like healthier cereals. But, I just recently bought and tried Honey Nut & Oats Greek cereal. And I love it! yay. Still a lot of calories but they are healthier.
  • When I was 21 I was 98 pounds and a size 0. I am 5ft with small bone structure. I didn't do anything to get that small. I ate smaller meals but wasn't doing it on purpose. (no diets) It wasn't until I had my first kid that I gained and had trouble getting back to my size. I will never be that thin again, not sure I can now.

  • I was on here a few years ago and this place really helped. I went through a bad ending to a marriage so I stopped. Now I have a 3 month old and husband gone. yay! I want to get into shape again and feel good too. Please add me if you want. I do best with support.
  • I do DVD's for strength training. I use Chalene Extreme which is all about building muscles. Then I add my cardio boosting videos everyday. So yes, you can use a DVD for muscle building. I started with 5lbs and now I'm at 12-15. I have learned proper forms and am so much stronger. No need for a gym.
  • You can totally be a loser. lol :) that just sounds bad. But, really you can. It's not an easy road so don't think it will happen fast. There will be bumps along the way. Mfp is a great help though. Logging calories is not that hard. Those that complain about it are those people just looking for excuses. Don't do that.…
  • My favorite is ActiVit from Beachbody. Those are the best and don't make me feel sick.
  • Exercise should be fun. If it's not then you need to find something you enjoy. I would start out with walking. Make sure you have a pair of walking shoes and not running. This makes a big difference for your feet. Take some music or a friend and start from there. Go in the morning or evening when it's not baking outside or…
  • CLX comes with the purple resistance band. I use that when it's called for. As for weights. Just buy the ones you can work with for now. As you get stronger you can purchase the next pair up. It's cheaper when you only buy them when you are strong enough to use them, verses buying them all at once. And plus you don't know…
  • I say if they ask for the advise then give them your advise. It's up to them to take it or leave it. Don't keep giving it to them everytime they whine if that's really what they're doing. Somehow I think they will just find an excuse. But, I'd offer it once or twice and that's it. If they really want the help you let them…
  • I HATE most veggies. but yesterday I tried something new. It was for my kids. I blended spinach, yellow & Italian squash, mushrooms, tomato and carrots together and mixed it in with pasta sauce. We all loved it. I felt so proud that we all ate so many veggies and didn't really taste them at all. And whatever taste we…
  • Hey guys. I had posted my results in days of 2 last week. probably not the best idea as it gets confusing. sorry. my weight didn't budge. I am going to drop out and be eaten by zombies (make me going out strong). Not because I feel the challenge is too difficult but, because I am pretty busy and am having trouble checking…
