  • W6D3 done!! Looks like it's all running (even if it's at a turtle's pace!) from here on out. :)
  • I prefer "nerd" over "geek" ;) I'm into Star Wars, Walking Dead, reading all things fantasy (Name of the Wind!!), Super Heroes, reading and watching Game of Thrones, playing Skyrim & Final Fantasy-just to name a few.
  • I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one. I lost 40 lbs doing a low carb diet, and ended up gaining 30 of it back. Now I'm trying to lose it all again, but without restrictions, just portion control. Good luck everybody :)
  • I was always afraid to try things out of fear if failure, like running or even being to hard on myself when I have a "bad" eating day. So my mantra is my profile pic: "Suckin' at something is the first step to being sorta good at something". ~Jake the Dog
  • Just finished W6D2! I had a hard time trying to squeeze this run in last week, and was worried that after 5 days of not running that I wouldn't be able to do it...but it went well.
  • Ok. I've been taking an everything in moderation approach this time around in my healthy lifestyle journey. We can give up one of our indulgences for 30 days-like diet pop, sweetened iced tea, the once a week Mac & Cheese I'll let myself have, anything that we want it to be. For excersize, we can set a mile limit for…
  • I just finished W5D3!! My kids wanted to go with me, but I knew they wouldn't be able to run it, so they biked a head while I ran the full 20 minutes. They helped push me and kept me going :). Pretty sure right now I'm feeling my first "runners high"... I haven't run in over 10 years, but would walk for 3 miles or so when…
  • Maybe we can do an 8 glasses of water a day challenge. That's one of the things I struggle with.
  • Hi everyone! I'm 32 and have 2 daughters-8 and 10. I'm not following any soecific diet, just learning portion control & introducing excersize into my life. I started running (at a turtles pace. Hahaha) about a month ago and love it! I'm looking forward to learning how to live a healthier life with you all :)
  • Week 5 day 2 done!
  • W5D1 done! I'm really loving this program
  • I just finished W4D3. I never thought I'd ever be a runner (even if I do go slower than a turtle!). Have fun running everyone :) (and feel free to add me if you'd like)
  • Just finished w4 d3. Bring on the dreaded week 5! I'm ready for this!
  • Just finished W4D1! If you would've told me 2 months ago that I'd be running 5 minutes straight I'd have laughed. It took me a bit longer to get through W3, but here I am! I really love this program. Keep it up everyone! :)
  • Hi everyone! I had success losing weight 3 years ago, but didn't think if it as a lifestyle change, so it all keept back on me. I've got 40 lbs to lose and can use a few buddies too. Good luck! :)
  • Anyone can feel free to add me! I'm 32 with 2 girls, ages 8-10. I had success losing weight before, but once I stopped dieting, I gained all but 10 pounds back. I started C25K a few weeks ago, and have gradually made changes to my eating habits. Good Luck everyone!
  • Check out the c25k app. I decided to turn my walks into runs, but didn't know where to start. It's a 9 week (3 days a week) program that gradually turns you into a runner. What's great is that you can repeat days too if you're not quite ready to move up. I just finished week 3 and am having a lot of fun with it. Good Luck!
