  • I use Jergens Firming gradual self tanning lotion. Not really sure if it firms but it gives my skin a bit of a natural glow which to me makes my muscles pop and the definition noticable!
  • Right? So its like I feel guilty for going to work out because they are being snarky lol. I guess it just goes back to the playground days...no one wants other people to roll their eyes at them or poke fun at their lifestyle. But I shouldn't feel ashamed for trying to be healty!
  • No its definately not that I think its easier. Its hard for me to stay in shape...I work very hard. I guess I just feel bad that they are struggling and THEY think it comes easier to me. They complain all the time and when I chime in its like "OH, well you're skinny and young you dont have to worry about it". THAT makes me…

  • I feel ya on the bloating. I have IBS and too much wheat makes me bloat as well as too many veggies. Frustrating. Anyway...I usually eat 3 servings of fruit a day. • I think it depends. I jog and my quads and hamstrings are solid and cut. I started doing squats and lunges in the winter (I love me some squats) and my legs got HUGE. Muscular...but too big for my liking. So now I just jog and jog steps...it works my lower half as well as giving me a great cardio workout. Everyone's body…
  • when you workout your muscles essentially tear.. You are breaking down and tearing the muscles. The muscles need fuel to help repair them. That's how we get toned and bigger muscles. The right foods though!! You cant run on the treadmill and then eat a piece of cake lol. Muscles need protein to rebuild, hence the reason…
  • There are so many protein shakes out there...I personally use GNC AMP. But I only drink that after my strength training workouts. After cardio and light circuit workout I make my own low cal protein shake: Milk, 1 frozen banana, 1 tablespoon (or more) of unsweetened cocoa powder. I blend it up in my Magic Bullet!! Or you…
  • Yeah, I do Cindy Witmarsh and Jackie Warner DVD's....I log them as circuit
  • Add 7-8 strawberries and a banana to your meal? You can even put it in the drink category if you like.
  • I ALWAYS through spinach in my homemade soups..no matter what kind!
  • Salads are good as long as they use grilled chicken and not fried or "crispy". Stay away from additions like tortilla chips or crispy straws and use low fat dressing! However, I always opt for a plain hamburger! With only lettuce tomatoes onion ketchup and mustard. No cheese, no mayo, no 'special sauces'. Arby's regular…

  • It depends on how hard you are working out. If you plan on doing a hard core workout...eat a small snack about an hour before. Light string cheese and an apple, Peanut butter and a banana, tuna and crackers....something with a little protein. Also you want to eat something after your workout. If I dont have a meal planned…
