I have the same issue. I think you have to just try and keep it in your mind that you're trying to drink more water and make yourself drink what is in front of you. My understanding is that this '5-2 diet' gives you the same weekly deficit but with five 'easier' days and two 'harder' ones. it definitely wouldn't work if you weren't eating healthily on those five days, as I can imagine you would end up binging after a fast day due to hunger. It sounds neither healthy nor sustainable.…

It can be very frustrating! I took my measurements on Sunday so I'm going to compare them in a couple of weeks' time. Hopefully that will give me a boost as my problem has always been that I don't see any positive results from healthy eating and exercise, so I just give up.

I think it must just be water. I've gone from being on an exercise halt to doing 4.5 miles four times a week. I didn't actually realise that your body did that when you began exercising, so that is very reassuring! Thank you! P.S. That's a UK size 12, same as me. :)

Aww thank you! Your replies have made me feel so much better already. :) I was just concerned because a stone seems like a huge fluctuation (and I'm a worrier by nature). I think I'll stick with my measurements as I only really care about how my body looks and feels, not the number of pounds itself. ^__^'

The weather here has been freakishly warm and as a lifelong summer-hater, things are growing difficult. I've been wearing scarves lately in the hopes that it will somehow lower the outside temperature, but sadly it isn't working. Counting down the days until I can wear a coat again ...

I love the Options hot chocolate range as they come in a lot of different flavours so they're really yummy and never boring. :) I also like Muller light yoghurts, low-calorie cereal bars, or plain biscuits -- anything under 100 calories.
