I also came to realize that excess weight over a longer period of time somehow morphed my body. I am right about where I was when I got married 16 years ago, but I am completely different on the outside. Time and gravity change a body. That's my experience.

Thanks for the question...interested in starting myself. Just kinda waiting for the motivation to come. Loved to run when I was younger and have put in little jogs here and there. Looking forward to getting advice myself.

I go whole grain pasta and just enough light Velveeta to make the pasta sticky...I tell the kids (and myself ) it's white cheddar! Mind over matter!

My schedule is full like yours, fast for my family is taco salad, grilled tilapia fillets (5 min thaw with 7 min grilling on indoor grill...side bar best thing ever for healthy fast cooking!) with instant brown rice with rotel. Feel free to add would love to pray for you along your journey.

Don't overwhelm yourself, no one likes to be set up for failure especially the first week. Adjust and maintain, that's all. you'll get it!

Choose a decent snack or filler, then look at why that happened. Maybe a better choice of fiber loaded foods or less carbs (pastas, breads) for the next day.
