I mean, the numbers make me feel great! I haven't been 143 in about 3 years, but it sucks when I don't see a difference, when I think 24lbs on a 5'4 girl should show more! I have taken "before" pics about 15lbs ago.. and don't see a difference.
I guess I'm going to have to be happy with numbers for now, so discouraging though. Better show when I lose these last 15-20lbs!!
Anyone else have a somewhat decent loss and not notice anything that makes you feel better??

Keep on with it...the same thing happened with me. Although my clothes got a little looser, when I looked in the mirror, I saw the same body as when I was 25 pounds heavier! It has taken about 6 months for my brain to finally see my body differently. Weird, eh?0

I'm about 45 pounds lighter and I still don't see the difference.
I hate it, but it makes me want to work even harder to reach my goal weight!!

Exactly.. my pants are looser.. but everything else just looks the same. I can't fit into my old jeans yet, and it sucks cause I don't want to spend money on a bunch of clothes when I'm still losing! Just get me back into my old jeans.. then maybe ill look and be like Ahhhh I see it now lol0

I agree with you both. I've lost 39lbs, and I still don't "feel" it.... although, I have dropped 2 pant sizes from 18 to 14, I just don't really SEE it. Probably because I see myself daily. But you know... the scale never lies. It's proof that we're successful in what we're doing!0

i've lost 43lbs and "don't see it". seem to be losing weight in the most bizarre places. others will notice though, i've gone down a few dress sizes but, i still feel so unsatisfied. BUT! hey you are 24 lbs lighter right! run with that, the worst is over! keep truckin' with me0

I dont see a different either in my 15.. But that's why I measure.. I can actually see the difference there0

I also came to realize that excess weight over a longer period of time somehow morphed my body. I am right about where I was when I got married 16 years ago, but I am completely different on the outside. Time and gravity change a body. That's my experience.0

Be careful to eat foods that will help you lose fat and keep muscle.
As I went from 255 to about 230, I did not see any difference, nor did I feel it. It did start to catch up and I began to notice it at 220.
However, when I started a low glycemic diet, I really started to see the love handles and stomach fat disappear, and I don't feel like I am cannibalizing my body to lose weight. The added bonus is that I am eating very healthy for the first time in my life....And I am enjoying the food!0 -
I'm hoping to just wake up one day like "oh heyyy".. I guess seeing yourself everyday does make a difference sometimes. Ugh.0
