I am at 1200 calories also and do look forward to my next meal as well. I usually do a light breakfast, 2 larger meals and save at least 150 calories for an evening snack. Yeah, I am always on the low end of calories input- but some of my mfp friends are burning like 1000 calories for walking or 900 calories for 40 minutes of a cardio dvd. To me, tracking my food is not punishment or dieting. I kind of enjoy it and use it to guide me. If it's a bad eating day I track it as best I can. I agree about the food. I am 54, in menopause, and lost 25 pounds just logging all my food. Due to 2 foot surgeries, I did not exercise during that 8 month time, but still lost weight. And have you lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks? That's no so bad at all!

I don't take or need cheat days because I am not on a diet. If I want fast food or an evening cocktail, I make sure to log it and work it into my daily calories. Going over in sugar is very easy: one banana and an apple put you over for the day. I try and limited the sugar in processed foods and don't worry too much about the naturally occurring sugar in fruits and vegetables.

You may be addicted to MFP when you may have either left your phone at work OR lost it. Either way you must have MFP and your mobile app-so you go buy a new phone the next day! My husband did this and YES THE PHONE WAS FOUND AT HIS WORK THE SAME DAY! :)

Be careful,With each banana alone having 105 calories or so, that would make the serving of 3-4 cups way over the calories listed originally. So, add bananas wisely...:)

That's cool when clothes/ belts are too big for you, right? My husband ( who is also on MFP ) was pulling up his pants all during our walk into and out of church on Sunday! Time to buy new pants for him! Congrats on your new belt purchase! :)

It is surprising, but- I lost 25 pounds in the 6 months after 2 foot surgeries and no exercising! I must have really been overeating, because when I began to watch calories, the weight came off!
