Although your current eating situation is not ideal, you seem to be doing your best in your limited situation. For this, I applaud you. When you can- buy some fresh fruit and veggies and get plenty of exercise. For a 22 year old, you have alot of responsibilities and I admire you for the concern you are showing your…

I love my job, and have been blessed with my own office....But my coworker across the hall talks loudly- even on personal calls! With my door shut I can usually hear every word still! INDOOR VOICES PLEASE...

I have to be facing the doorway or main entryway when I sit in a restaurant or meeting. I have a fear of someone 'creeping' up on me and surprising me. Also, the husband has strict warnings never to pull any AFV gags on me, either.

And as one of the older ladies in this thread I must interject my thoughts. The perk that I have found with small-med breasts is that: gravity tugs away at everything as we age: but small boobs tend to stay relatively still! Yay! :)

1. baby carrots ( my all time fav snack) 2. greek yogurt 3. ground turkey ( many ways) ties with oatmeal

Let's be honest my motivation to loose weight was to be healthy, but I sure would also like to look good in whatever clothes I wear. Including a bathing suit! How I look at it is: how was I born? How did I look at 8 or 9? Even at 17 (for me anyway)? I was created thin, and that's what looks good on my frame. And in a…

Although I have not given up any one particular group of food or food item- I do have a LOVE/ hate relationship with all chips :( so.... when I feel that I must have some chips (and know that it is hard to stop eating them) I buy Pop Chips. Super yummy, less harmful nutritionally than regular chips and only 360 calories…

I think maybe you could use the support of an in person support group like OEA (Over Eaters Anonymous). Having people hold you accountable and listening to the stories of others can be very life- changing. The first step is recognizing the problem and you have done that. Now take the next step and reach out to a support…

I don't deprive myself of any real cravings. I just eat with moderation , exercise more if needed and adjust the calories for the rest of my day when I indulge in something a little less than healthy. I am afraid to totally deprive my body of something it is craving...and by indulging occasionally, the cravings do seem to…

I have been married forever and ever, but I would say a warm handshake, hug or friendly cheek peck are a wonderful ending to a great first date, I have been married 31 years, so the rules were different back then , now I would think about it more :)

I am plateauing a bit too. I have started eating around maintenance and trying to not eat my exercise calories back. To break it up- some days I go over and other days cycle under caloric goals. After viewing your diary, my advice is: be super consistent in logging, never skip a meal and eat less white rice and potatoes at…

How about starting with MFP friends in your nearby area? Go to Find Members, select female, put in desired age range, area code and distance from the area code. That way you can at least become fitness buddies with someone and perhaps invite them to walk with you at a nearby park or something. Also keep in mind that even…

I agree while allowing your children to become obese is negligent, it is not child abuse. Children do often copy their parents and that includes bad habits such as overeating, cursing, playing too many video games, and neglecting spiritual and intellectual growth. Each person finds their way as they grow up. and although…
