Well I ate more than I thought at lunch, but otherwise doing ok. Don't want to get on the scale Monday:( haven't done enough exercise. Guess I'll work on the garden for some exercise this weekend.

I've tried them but found them lacking. When I was a snack I whip up 1/2 cup of applesauce with 2 tblp of cool whip free and a dash of cinnamon. It stays with me longer.

Hi I haven't given up ! My pt person oked me to walk again but start out slow and work up to what I was doing. I got my 20 minutes in yesterday and all my stretching exercises. Food was in control, I even managed to get all my waters in. See ya tomorrow.

Try oatmeal for breakfast. 1 serving of it, 1 tbpl peanut butter, 1 tblp maple syrup is 320 calories which is way less than what you quoted and it is very filling. Just a thought.

I agree with Spaul, find something to do with the kids! Music is a great mood enhancer and you don't have to know any steps just get up and move with it. Take them to the park and push them on swings it will work your arms and upper body. Go for bike rides with them, run races with them. Jump rope. You all can do it…

Thanks Mags, I will look into low GI foods. I haven't really done research, I just stopped eating big portions and alot of bread. I went to whole wheat products for alot of my food. And yes, I usually have one banana a day. That has never really changed, in fact I get a little cranky if I can't have one for breakfast.lol.

I couldn't get my walk in like I wanted yesterday because it poured the whole time the kids played lacrosse. I went grocery shopping today and that was way to slow to count as exercise I feel. I have to drive the Lacrosse team to a game so while they play today I will take my 1 hour walk. Usually I just sit on my duff. That's my plan and if there is time tonight I will do some gardening. Yesterday I moved some leafy brush for my hubby for an hour. Nothing heavy just little branches. Have to start somewhere.
