According to my experience daily running is better than alternate. Try to run daily at least 30 mins. It will keep you healthy and fit and you will also feel fresh.

Nope, I had seen many people who were riding bikes in spite of being over weighted. Do not think about it. Just start it, at least give a try to it.

A person think for going to the gym when actually he/she needs it. I think no one does it by approaching others. But it is good to go gym daily when you do not need of it. It keeps you perfect and fit.
