How are you doing Jeremy?

As soon as I get back on a computer instead of a phone, I'm sending you a friend request. Seriously-- you just spoke to me. This really does nail it.

I am also tracking a bunch of stuff.

It is supposed to say 2 weeks and 6 days beside that weight. By the time I caught it, it wouldn't let me change it. It FELT like that long!
-
Never mind. I suggested swimming but you likely have some kind of cast on. Duh.

I wouldn't be concerned about the daily fluctuations, even ones that seem more normal than the valleys. Mine shows that all the time. What you do need to look at is that it has been since April 24th since your last valley. Recently, however, I hit my second time in 3 months to see a wait over two weeks. It took 2 weeks and…

You may be having more success than you think. Do you graph your daily weighing? I do. I see a lot of M's along the way. What I look for are those bottom valleys. If the valleys are lowering over time, that's what you pay attention to--not the peaks. Try looking to see how many days you went between each new lowest point.…

I have worked out plenty of times when I have been dog tired because I made a commitment to myself that tired or busy will not be an excuse I use. I have been 100% faithful to that. But tonight, I am not working out. Why? Because I have learned to recognize when my body needs the rest. It's not about being tired because it…

What a great Mother's Day gift. It shows that they recognize your wish to change your lifestyle and want to support and encourage you.

It's a great motivation tool but that can depend on what motivates you. I can tell you that I climbed 100 floors yesterday for the first time and a few months ago, I wouldn't have even attempted it. I had already gotten a fair number of "floors" from my hike and that alone is a direct result of the mission to become active…

I am 141. I burn between 180-250. My average is about 230.

Not bad! I didn't do it in one straight shot. It started out with going back up to my apartment a number of times for the items we kept forgetting. Then we went on a hilly terrain hike to see a waterfall. The terrain goes up and down a bunch of times. The park service has steps, bridges, and paths the whole way. My fitbit…

This technically happened yesterday since it is only 730am here... I climbed 100 floors!!!

I climbed 100 floors today!

For Mother's Day, I wanted to celebrate the new active me. So I asked for an active family outing. I went to brunch as my family wanted (but limited it to one plate with mostly healthy stuff on it) and then we went for a hike to a waterfall area. In two hours we trudged as an active family through roughly 8,000 steps and…

I would spend the day with my kids. I wouldn't cater to everyone all day but the quality time and the celebration of the holiday is for both the giver and the receiver. They really are too young to understand. If you need a break, however, that is a perfectly reasonable request. I would just make sure you planned it for…

I know she says do not stop but if I haven't mentioned this before, one thing that has helped me out a lot is making sure I stay properly hydrated before, DURING, and after. I'm not in general a big water guru but I find it helps lessen the heat exhaustion. I also make sure my fan is turned on, I have properly foot wear,…

If you do a search, you will find posts that might help you find solutions for more breast support. The other stuff takes time to build stamina but this is something you can work on for a more immediate impact on comfort during your exercises.

Put it in your diary. No need for shame. Take ownership of it. You recognize the problem. It may be a food you can only have when out and not in your house. Learn from that. Just because you don't write it, doesn't mean you didn't eat it. You might as well stick it in there. None of us are perfect.

I LOVE this!

You need a heart rate monitor since everyone is so different. I burn between 500-600 for 60 minutes. I just started exercising in February.

The first time I did Level 1, I used the free online trial video on YouTube. I didn't have. I didn't have captions and thus did not understand anything Jullian said. That's a mixed blessing. My knees hurt! I took a week off while I ordered and waited for the DVD (living abroad). This time I watched the entire video without…

I'm doIng 30DS 5 days a week and I add 3-4 days of cardio with it.

Very visible difference! Wow! Keep it up! Keep it. It will motivate the heck out of you.

I see a lot of sodium.

I am wearing Jazz dance shoes. Because of the impact, I wouldn't necessarily say they are the best shoe ever but they do let me move and they don't constrict my foot as much as tennis shoes tend to (which aggravates my Morton's Neuroma). I've recently read that New Balance has a line of shoes for that issue so I'm looking…

I want a good camera for my birthday. I currently live on a beautiful tropical island and it deserves praise. I would like something takes pictures underwater but is clear and sharp indoors too. Action photos should not come out blurry. My price range is not in the thousands folks. Actually I'm torn between an underwater…

I am relatively close to goal weight. I have problems with it. It has increased with impact from certain exercises.

I have lost weight successfully and maintained (for years) without using either of those things. This time I am sometimes using protein drinks as a snack, not as a meal replacement, because I've ramped up my exercise program more than I ever have and I am not enough of a meat eater to keep up with my protein needs. I don't…

Overall I found level 1 harder for me than Level 2. Having said that, I used 10lb weights for most of the exercises in Level 1 (though not for those side lunges!) but in Level 2, I have to use the 5lb dumbbells for most exercises and I WANT 2-3lb ones for that V-raise exercise. I haven't tried Level 3 yet. Different people…
