  • Tacos!!! I love the fact that corn tortillas can be as little as 60 calories each and you can go so many ways with them. I am a vegetarian, so my favorite toppings are avocado and egg with sriracha but I'm sure chicken, pork, or turkey would be good too.
  • My local spice shop has a hot smoked Spanish paprika that I use on everything from chili, to tacos, and soup. They also have an orange pepper seasoning that I use to roast most of my veggies (it's the best on brussel sprouts) .
  • I make breakfast tacos with mashed avocado on corn tortillas topped with a fried egg, lime, paprika, salt, and sriracha... but I am going to have to remember some of these other ideas
  • I have been enjoying cooking up a big pan of kale & mushroom saute on Sundays and have a portion of it in the morning with a fried egg on top http://www.familyfoodonthetable.com/sauteed-kale-and-mushrooms/
  • My work offers $300 off medical every year if you get your blood work done and sent to your doctor through them; I have been doing it for the last 3 years and while our company's rates have gone up a bit over time there have been no repercussions against individuals
  • I go to Aldi on a weekly basis because of the vegetable selection and cauliflower was a steal this week; so, I'll be using mine to make roasted cauliflower wraps, but pizza crust sounds awesome. Overall, my favorite things to grab are their big bags of pre-washed / cut kale and their hummus.

  • Food noises in commercials; the crunch of a cookie, the fizzing of soda, or the noise a knife makes when cutting through chicken are all things that make me cringe and change the channel.
  • I have found that pre-popped popcorn, like smart pop or boom chicka pop, is great for when I need something crunchy and I like to package it into zip lock bags right when I get home from the market so that I can just toss it into my lunch bag during the week.
  • Ah, I'm in the same boat; just sitting at my desk at work hurts. I guess I'll start with yoga since it's what my doctor recommended, though the myofascial release and MELT method that Mike mentioned sound like something I'll need to research.
  • I was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia on Friday and told that increased exercise will help the symptoms; but I am in the same boat where the activities that I used to love doing just hurt now. I have been encouraged to try yoga, but are there any exercises/classes that you take that you like and don't inflame your…
  • It's awesome that you have the self discipline to stay away from the food based rewards at first! I am actually the opposite; I find that if I don't work a treat into my daily calories when I am craving it that I end up snapping and going on a binge either later in the day or later in the week
