I'm a husband with two lil girls...actually my wife is relatively little too...and so is my dog...so 4 little girls. I'm pretty regular on here too and entertainment/motivation is half the battle!

This works especially well if you like green bananas. The green bananas can be near impossible to break open at the stem but you can peel from the bottom with no issues. That's how apes do it too! You can also break it open in the middle and smush the two halves into your mouth if you're worried about looking like a sissy…

Generally not just because of safety concerns. If you wanted to do some air punches or lifts while moving I would definitely do that on solid ground. I'm not saying it couldn't be done but it would take concentration off of the tread mill and you could lose your footing, twist an ankle, or something like that.

Its still pretty much cardio but if you do hill sprints on it in an interval fashion its more of a muscle building type exercise. Just walking or light jogging is going to be steady state cardio...but more intense than flat surfaces.

Somebody mentioned Trutein cinnabun which I found amazing. Tasted like a liquid cinnamon bun! Best thing is its not a proprietary blend so you know exactly what you're getting. I also really like MusclePharm's Combat powder in chocolate...i think it tastes like a real chocolate bar. My wife prefers BSN's Syntha 6…

My wife got insane stretchmarks on her belly from my kids. She used to have the ideal stomach...like magazine cover worthy but now its scarred up. I don't mind, I still love it...they are battle scars. I've got them too. Luckily they are on my *kitten* which nobody ever sees and on the inside of my bicep towards my armpit.…

Or if you or your friend is uncomfortable with the touching, let the instructor know before the class that you don't want to be touched...just say something funny like "i'm weird with touching so please don't" lol A good instructor wouldn't have an issue with that.
-
Everyone is different, some people are touchy feely, others wont touch at all. He sounds like a hands on instructor. As long as the correcting and touching is not inappropriate I wouldn't think there's a problem.

Giving up soda is awesome cuz soda is nothing but sugar and crap calories that do nothing but spike insulin levels which in turn stores those crap calories as fat. Even diet sodas are bad but only science can explain why...and I'm no scientist. easiest way for me to get back into the body I used to have was to log…

If you consistently eat 2000 a day, then "fall off" and go to 3500...then "get back on" the next day...you'll be fine. You'll probably excrete most of the extra calories in various ways, also this could help jump start your metabolism again so you end up losing. Shoot I just did this. Saturday night I got a insane craving…

not really into guys...sorry.

I nodded yes as I read this. Your body needs time to adapt to the changes you've made. You got past the first 2 weeks...now the results will start coming quicker! Also, if you haven't been lifting or working out in years and just started, your initial muscle growth will be huge. Not to say you'll get huge muscles but they…

I'm trying to cut body fat down to 10%...I eat 3-4 whole eggs for breakfast most mornings and the cut is going well. Like above people said, too many nutrients are in the yolks to just discard them.
-
I was gonna say butter too, grapeseed oil, lemon like you said is awesome on fish. you gotta be careful but teriyaki sauce...
-
I'm using 30/40/30 right now and my cut is going well. Not sacrificing strength or size but definitely losing fat. I definitely make sure to get my healthy fats and protein but carbs i dont worry too much about...they tend to fluctuate a bit. Thats just what i do...no science behind it.

Saturday, I couldn't help it any longer...I hadn't had pizza in months and everywhere I turned I kept seeing pizza commercials, people mentioned pizza, my daughter wanted some pizza, a giant pizza chased me and tackled me and forced me to eat it in my dream.... So I got an extra large pepperoni and sausage pizza (half…

First thought: People tend to mistake hunger for thirst Second thought: Make sure your water intake is where it should be Third thought: This is a very complicated question and whether you drink while you eat or before or after probably won't make a huge difference. I couldn't imagine a meal without a drink. Just do what…

Don't give up! You can do this! Main thing, make sure you eat healthily most of the time, try to remain pretty consistent with your calorie intake and exercise, and if you don't lose weight, drop your calories a bit. If you lose weight too fast, up your calorie intake. Just keep adjusting it every couple weeks to get to…

I don't do sodas, fast foods, processed foods, sugary juices, simple carbs, or beer nearly as often as I used to. All of it is counter productive when my goal is to be healthy and fit. I don't deprive myself if I want something though. I probably eat more veggies and lean meats than before. I also added green tea extract,…

I got started because of gravity. Well, gravity and stairs...haha. Seriously though it got to the point where everyday tasks were just hard and exhausting. As my daughter started getting older and running around I noticed that I couldn't keep up with her and she was 3!!! I decided to get in shape for a few reasons. I want…

I too am trying to burn off the fat I've accumulated during my wife's pregnancies...I've got about 10lbs left! Welcome!

Negative reps are great...but you have to do the positive portion too...

Household chores...I can't say more or I might get excited.

John got his nickname from when he used to sit in the men's bathroom in HS. He'd collect money in exchange for letting all the guys "Use the John". Also a pretty good reason why he doesn't like others to complain about "butt-hurt". Nobody understands a good butt-hurt like John does.

If you feel like you can, have at it. If you feel like you can't, well..you're taking this weekend off anyway so have at it...lol

Dude, 29, 6ft In one year I'm down 32lbs and went from 28% to 16% body fat. Started off with the starvation diet...that sucked and i lost a ton of muscle...then i tried the weight lifting approach...that was cool cuz i got my muscle back...then i tried eating at a deficit...weight came off slow but sure. Now I eat healthy…
