You could also try New Rules of Lifting for Women.

Sorry, I should have mentioned it: I weighed the package - 30 grams. Still quite a difference.
-
I would say based on these pictures that the scale gives me a better idea of the calorie intake than what is written on the package. Based on the package I would log 125 grams per portion. But the reality is slightly different, as you can see.
-
Of course! Otherwise, if you don't reach your goals, what would you blame it on? The days when you were good with your diet? Or the food and drinks you HAVE LOGGED? The body does log everything and so should you.
-
I guess the only way you can find out which estimate is closer to the true calorie burn, you have to weigh your food, log accurately and see what happens in a month.
-
I would recommend Body Revolution! She uses weights and you can adjust these according to your fitness level and the workouts get progressively more difficult so, as a Jillian Michaels fan, you will love it!
-
What is your weight loss goal? How much are you trying to lose/week? How active are you?
-
Actually, I think there might be a way to achieve this - strength training. It can help you get nice hips and thighs with curves in all the right places, it flattens your stomach and you get a wide, muscular upper back, giving you the illusion of a smaller waist. If you do a proper training program, it should be safe and…

You're welcome! Have fun and enjoy the chin-ups! ;)

There are two workouts that alternate, A and B, each one needs to be done 5 times so you do get a total of ten workouts. Isn't this the schedule? It looks like the rest of the stages, with alternating workouts, but instead of repeating each 4 times for a total of 8 this time it is repeating each 5 times for a total of ten.

Hello! I am currently doing stage 6. What is it that needs figuring out?
-
:D :D :D thank you!

Hello! I didn't feel like jumping either, so I tried this https://youtu.be/GdgnOnaSqUY It is low impact, some of the moves may look a bit silly, but it's something. The problem with intervals is that some mornings I don't have all the time I need, so I just do 30-60 min of some circuit training on one of the days when I am…

I would actually recommend a strength training program if you think you are clueless. New Rules of Lifting for Women is pretty good - it gives proper explanations for all the moves and you can do those workouts at home, with minimum equipment. Reading the book actually gives you the feeling that you KNOW what you are doing…

Please feel free to add me!

Bump. Great thread!
-
Have you managed to figure out the workouts?
-
New Rules of Lifting for Women can be done at home too.
-
Sorry for that. My phone decided to post here while I was reading and I can't delete it...

Hello! I am also new to this group. I have started the program this week and I love it! (I am sore, but I love that too! :) )

I'm sorry I won't be able to join you this time! I am planing to do this again sometime, but at the moment I am trying a little bit more strength training and taking a break from Jillian Michaels. I would like to do this again, when BodyShred becomes available in Europe - in preparation for that. I hope you enjoy your…

What if you take a break for 4 days from your workouts and just enjoy these days? Is this going to have a huge impact on your long term goal? I don't think you should try to "discretely" add a workout or feel guilty for not exercising. If you are already fairly active, have a good balanced diet, are logging everything…
-
:/ I wish this was available in Europe.
-
Thank you! Have you thought what to do after Body Revolution?
-
I have finally completed the program! :) I had dreams about being able to do wheel push ups - but those were just dreams! I feel great after doing this and I am sure I will do it again later this year!
-
Great! I hope you are enjoying these workouts as much as we did! :)
