do goblet squats. there's no reason you shouldn't be able to perform a squat, unless your form is atrocious.

this makes no sense.knee sleeves keep you warm which is good. they dont add pounds and are not supportive. they dont lower any sort of "joint strength" gains. i recently tried sleeves, and I felt 123.4% better. SBD's are probably the best, rehbands are good but suck if you sweat a lot. dyel

lose some fat

If i had to choose between eating a chicken breast or a deluxe pizza (only), I would definitely choose a deluxe pizza. It would be healthier as it has more macros/micros. So you can't just say a chicken breast is healthier than a deluxe pizza...

There is nothing wrong with eating 1200 cals, you're just going to lose more muscle than if you had a smaller deficit. Meaning you will just be smaller and fatter. This sites forums are worse than miley cyrus

what is good food? good/bad, it doesn't matter. It's not a matter of nutrition, its a matter of energy requirements. arbitrary numbers mean nothing
-
if you think your legs are to big its a matter of fat not muscle. I highly doubt you have too muscular legs at that weight. Chances are they aren't big any way.

You don't have to be fit to be a good PT. The easiest way to understand this is to look at coaches in pro level sports and doctors. Just because you have the knowledge doesn't mean you have to portray it. Also, with PT in particular, you have to remember 99% of the people you see in the media are taking AAS. Non-aas…

.8lbs a week at ~1800cal a day haven't done any cardio (to exhausted from lifting mon-wed-fri), very sedentary outside of the gym
-
It's always better to have a deficit and weight train than the same deficit with cardio. You will retain more muscle mass. Cardio just burns more calories so it is easier to have a higher deficit. There is a very little chance of doing anything negative with your metabolism as you are eating a decent amount. If anything…

unless you can do the compound exercises at an intermediate level, crossfit is just a **** show.
-
these classes always end up being 99.9% male. plus, yoga. nope

You cant walk on all golf courses....

do less cardio, more weights..

I read a bit of the book, and i have to say i was Disgusted. The authors grammar and overall writing ability is terrible, I thought it was a joke like a 12 year old wrote it.

a lot of people think you cant gain muscle and lose fat, and cite bodybuilders as an example which is beyond ridiculous because as everyone should know gaining muscle as a beginner (especially with more body fat) is easier than a person at or near there limit (ie bodybuilder) the more fat you have, the easier this is as…

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most people here dont TRAIN like a bodybuilder[powerlifter, strongman, athlete], but since they feel tired and sweaty ect think they are burning a lot more than they actually are. When I do 6 sets of squats leading up to a 5x3 of my working set around 90% of my 1rm, obviously I am burning…

definitely bulk, but I wouldn't go straight into a 500+ surplus. slowly up your calories, if you can start strength training as it will help your body comp most, and keep it around maintenance [higher]. At least, that is what I would do.
-
I wasn't even talking about those just learning, i'm loling at people who thing weightlifting burns a lot of calories [because of perceived effort]. But really, I don't care, I laugh at most people on this site for thinking weight loss is rocket science.
-
lol at people thinking weightlifting burns a lot of calories.
-
its a calf/ankle flexibility issue. heel just allows you to go deeper easier (more rom == better)
-
it hurts because your calves don't have the strength to support your weight while running. Most people who start using a treadmill have calf pain no matter how they run. Keep doing it and eventually it wont hurt. Stretch your calves/ankles.
-
false. to a certain extent.

blah blah psuedoscience blah blah. fruits not bad, but i never eat fruit when i am in a deficit. If you want to eat fruit who cares. i Personally don't, mainly because it doesn't fill me up. I get my vitamins elsewhere. people in here acting like they are elite bodybuilders when the **** really doesn't matter at these…

shakes are "better" because they dont have carbs/sugar. But neither is better for retaining muscle mass during loss, they are both whey protein. the powder will be cheaper
-
lol, scientific data. your comparing apples and oranges with those age ranges, and disregarding crucial information.
-
unless you eat over 8oz of salmon a day you would benefit from fish oil. bcaa's would probably help, depends on types of protein and amount you take in. you dont really need a spotter for SS or SL, just a rack. Only exception being bench press. If you dont want to bench without a spotter just DB press.
-
terrible logic. running wont build muscle after a certain point
-
since that makes sense..
