  • Fabulous!!!
  • I am just about the same boat as you. I started at 190 and want to get to 125. I am at around 165 now and doing lots of cardio, but probably not at the intensity that I need to do it at. I definitely need to add weight training, which I have done before. I am committed to start next Monday now. Thank you for the…
  • I have some before and almost half way point pics on my profile. I am 5'2" and currently weigh 164, but was at 190.5 this past February. I want to end up at 125. I've been as low as 110, but that wasn't maintainable.
  • I noticed that too. I do eat 2-3 servings of fruit a day and it almost always goes over. I also notice that I am almost always below my goal for iron, but over for protein.
  • AWESOME! BTW, you are still funny, even as a skinny, fast, healthy guy. Great story and really inspiring!
  • You look great and what a cute outfit! I am too also into a size 12 now, but probably ready to try on some 10's soon.

  • I have gone 75 days with only have one Coke Zero during that time and I used to drink 3-4 of them a day, every day. I feel a million times better with no deep slumps like I used to have after the caffeine and the sweetener in my sodas wore off. With no deep slumps, then the temptation to just reach for something, anything…
  • I am losing with my husband too! You both look fantastic!
  • I am 5'2" and 3/4. My goal is 125. I am currently at 168, so I have a long way to go. I've been as low as 110, but I think I was too skinny at 110.
  • Hi Lisa, Don't let your hubby push anything on you. Some things that might help.... Stay out of the kitchen unless you are cooking, eating or doing dishes. Leave the room when he's snacking, like in front of the TV. Tell him that you're full and don't want or need any snacks. Have carrots or celery ready to eat if he feels…
  • I would have definitely been reporting them to the YMCA manager. And I would have asked to have them removed from the gym/track for the day. I would have asked that their parents be called. I would have asked that they they repeat to the manager what they told you. There is no excuse for this.
  • Different things work for different people. If someone is motivated by quick results, then a meal replacement plan is temporary can be great. Then while they are on the meal replacement plan, they need to learn how to eat proportioned meals within a calorie range appropriate for their exercise level. Not everyone who goes…
  • Every pregnancy and woman is different, so just be patient with yourself if you don't match what others are saying happened to them. Do the best you can with keeping up the exercise. Eat the freshest and healthiest food you can, but don't go overboard on eating large quantities.
  • Spectacular! Great Job! Keep pushing!
  • AWESOME!!! You should be proud of yourself, you've come SO FAR! Keep it up!
  • Awesome!!! I am almost exactly where your starting weight was and I am at 172 now as well. I have two girls, aged 6 and 4. My belly is getting smaller too, but I don't have a before picture.
  • What a spectacular loss! I am on isagenix, which is a similar concept in having two shakes a day, two small snacks and one 400-600 calorie meal. It does make it easier to remember that portion control is key,.
  • Awesome, Awesome, awesome!
  • It is definitely harder to lose weight for me in my 40's as quickly as I did in my 20's. It just comes off quicker. I am hoping that I will lose my double chin, and not have my neck look old!
  • You can add me too. I have run 3 marathons, but packed the pounds on during two pregnancies. Now, I am trying to go for a 5K race this summer, but my ultimate goal is to run another marathon in 2014 after losing another 50 pounds. Running when overweight is brutal.
  • Do something different with your exercise. Try sprinting, if you don't do that now. Try uphill running. Try a different machine at the gym. Take a new exercise class.
  • Holey Hot STUFF! You look wonderful. What a cute guy you were before, and now you're spectacular. Enjoy your new body and remember how far you've come.
  • The artificial sweeteners in Crystal Lite can cause your blood sugar to crash and defeat the whole purpose of not ingesting extra calories. I would follow what others have said with adding lemon, frozen berries, cucumbers and mint to your water. You might consider trying La Croix sparkling water.. no caffeine, no sugar, no…
  • GREAT!!! You look great and you are doing great!
  • That's a realistic goal, and eating 1200 calories a day with exercise is going to help. You might consider adding some weight and resistance training, at least upper body (since your knee is messed up) if you reach a plateau.
  • Hi Everyone, I am new to posting to the community, but been on mfp on and off for a long time. I am finding that weight loss is MUCH harder after 40. I just turned 47, and finally my kids are old enough for me to have time to work out and plan meals. ( I didn't even have kids until I turned 40!) Anyway, the excess baby…
  • I am 47 years old and 5'2". I am eating between 1200 to 1300 calories day, with 4-7 cardio sessions. I eat closer to 1300 on the days when I am working out. I haven't started weight training yet. I am down 15.5 pounds in about 5.5 weeks. If I eat more than 1400, I gain weight.
  • The 30 program that I have from Isagenix includes 4 days of cleansing. Those days are very low calorie. I am at the end of my second one and I am starving. My first cleanse day was only 400 calories with eating an entire apple. Starvation diets do not work long term. I have had a headache since starting the whole thing on…
