http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/total-body-workout-11 Is this considered lifting? I think of lifting as only free weights or machines.

Good advice so far. Is resistance training the same thing? Our local community center offers TRX training, it these bands or something and you use your own weight. It's pretty inexpensive...thoughts?

Fatfreefrolic, yes, me too. And patience. I find that last month I lost about 10lbs. Now my scale isn't budging and I feel like all of these different (better) choices aren't doing any good. I slipped today but tomorrow will be better.

Good for you ????

I agree with LifterDave. I had horrible sciatic nerve pain for almost 2 years, 3 trips to the ER for shots to calm it. I had a severely bulged disc. I tried everything before I considered surgery. I tried pain shots, decompression therapy, which helped as long as I kept it up. I finally decided to have surgery. Best thing…

I'm 33 and on everyday. I'm on phentermine and doing the insulin resistance diet.

I'm on week 4 of being on it, I absolutely LOVE it. Too bad you can't take it long term. I see a dr every month, I go next Monday and get weighed. I'm at 260 and my goal is to eventually get to 135.

I agree about her looking good in 2 OR 3.

It sounds really reasonable. It's always good to stay ahead of your weight, when I was 22 I gained 40lbs, than at 23 I gained another 40lbs. 10 years later I'm 120 lbs overweight. I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. Stay on top of it and you will thank yourself later ????
