I have found the recipe uploader on my computer to be entirely useless. Do you use the mobile app? The recipe builder on the phone version is much easier to use.

I had leftovers to use up last night so I sliced up leftover sirloin steak, stirred it up with some leftover jasmine rice plus garlic hummus, sriracha, and plenty of smoked paprika. Wilted some spinach and cooked up a quick fried egg to put on top...it was AWESOME.

I just write it in my exercise notes instead of actually "logging" it. That way I do have a record of it in MFP ("For science!" as my husband likes to say), so if I want to I can go back and see what I did and how my results were affected. I weigh every morning, but then I use an app called Happy Scale to chart my fluctuations. It does some kind of statistical magic and predicts your "true weight" and overall loss based on your changes over time. It has REALLY helped me to stop stressing over the slight day-to-day changes.

Your muscles need water for repair. When you stress them in a new or particularly strenuous way, they retain more water than usual. Voila--instant water weight!

Oatmeal! I use oats, a tablespoon of peanut butter, a little cinnamon, and a little honey. Pour on hot water, stir it up, and it's instant delicious.
