I throw it into my smoothies almost daily. I also like soup that has Kale in it.

Anyone can add me!

For the above, I am totally in agreement with that. I like Hagan Daaz (most are pretty good ingredients), and you can even get those little mini containers of it if you don't want to risk eating a pint)

Hello! I've done this (both total elimination for longer period of time, and just limitation, which I'm trying to do now.) I found it really helpful in reducing the urge to overeat. It also automatically cut out a lot of the unhealthier foods I was eating, so my diet became more nutritious by default. I'll enjoy rolled…

Hello! I used to be vegan, and was never really into the fake meat aspect of it. I made sure I had a lot of greens, beans, and some nuts. That seemed to be sufficient (in that I felt fine). Occasionally I would also have tofu (great in in stir fry!). If you are ok with soy, it is worth experimenting with different soy milk…

I'll eat breakfast anytime between 9 and 12, lunch between 2 and 4, then dinner around 8 or 9, with a snack around 10:30 pm. I like to push eating later to try to combat the late night snacking urges :)

I grind as well, and wear a guard at night to help with TMJ disorder. Don't take my word for it (I'm no expert), and this wasn't the case with me, but I've read that magnesium deficiency can contribute to bruxism. Have you looked into any possible nutritional causes?

I just sent you one as well.

I love scrambling up eggs with Chorizo sausage. I also will make smoothies with Kefir, frozen fruit. and gelatin powder (added protein).

I used to do that too, it was like I HAD to eat something sugary to even go back to sleep. I stopped, but that's just because I used dental hygiene as a motivation...good to brush before bed, and a shame to eat right after brushing :) Is it mainly sweet items that you eat?

Assisted pull up machine...I know I can do lat pull downs, but I like the more realistic simulation of movement that the pull up machine offers. Even better if you can do triceps dips on it.

You can add me too! I only JUST started being more active on the site, and am looking for friends on here too.

Ha...I had a Florida trip last year where the forecast said the same thing. Fortunately, the rain and storms were mostly daily, but brief, so we still enjoyed sunshine most of the trip. Hopefully the same will happen for you! Also....rainy weather, especially if it's a lush area, CAN be quite pretty and sufficiently…

Thanks everyone! I think I like the idea of setting calories to maintenance for that day. It seems like that would keep me in the rule following mindset, and keep me from feeling like I've sabotaged my diet.

Hmmm... every two weeks might be a better option for me. I appreciate that you noted the variety that your friends use. I might try doing something calorie based, like, once a week I'll let myself exceed by 200 calories, or maybe eat back all of my exercise calories. I am probably just over thinking this :D

Walking isn't as demanding as what you've been doing, but it's certainly not wimpy! I love walking, and if I neglect to do it alongside other workouts, my body starts to hate me :). It does contribute to my fitness level as well. If that's what you feel you can do right now, then I wouldn't consider it a waste of time.

Saw this last night, but just got to respond now. I am in the same boat! 5' 4" with 10 pounds to lose. I've been trying to lose this forever, and I keep losing a few, and then doing the stress eating thing, and gaining it back, then losing..eating...and so on :) I hope you all are able to get to where you want to be!
