Here is my profile link: [edited by mods] Right now I am working on upping my steps so they may seem low. I went from the beginning of the year (when I was totally off track) of having an average of 2000 steps a day up to 4500+ now! I am working on small increments and would like to work back to where I was when I was on…

I have a Blaze and Charge 2 and I like the Charge 2 just because of the smaller size. The screen is much nicer on the Blaze but I've never been a big watch wearer so I do prefer the smaller form factor of the Charge 2.

Hi, I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian and do low-carb and sometimes I do keto for periods of time. I am going to put this link here because this is a much more supportive place: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

I'm making a low carb candied ginger right now... which will also have a side effect of creating a sugar-free ginger syrup that I can use for some home-made ginger ale! This thread inspired me to do something with ginger root.

I don't recommend eating 1200 calories, no matter how little weight you have left to lose or how inactive you are, if you are 26 years old. You can lose weight on a higher calorie goal, and it will be a much better experience.

Hello, I am low carb vegetarian. Not exactly keto since I eat quest bars... but I still keep my net carbs to 5-10% a day as I find this is the easiest diet to stick to and I feel great on it. Feel free to add, my diary is open.

I set my activity level to sedentary on here, sync mfp with my fitbit and don't record exercise at all. I only go by the fitbit adjustment

I use fitbit too! Anyone can add me, Sakuya3834@gmail.com

I am also looking for friends with Fitbit! Add me on here and then we can add each other on there

I had the Charge HR, Blaze, and Garmin Vivosmart HR. I really hated the Garmin. It was inaccurate for me when I did the usual HR comparison tests to chest strap/machine reading. The Garmin would also never count my steps if I was holding my purse or a drink so it was really not great. But I have no complaints about the…

Hmm, that's weird. I get extra floors when I'm walking uphill outside (which I don't care, because it's kinda cool to see how much elevation these hills are equivalent to!) but I've never had any on the treadmill. I have the Charge HR as well. Very strange.
-
For myself it has been fairly accurate. Comparing to HR on machines, HR at the doctors it is usually reading 1 BPM lower then the machine or Dr. Office. However, I have heard some people have trouble with it. You can always try it and if it doesn't work for you return it for a regular Charge. It's really only 20 bucks more…
-
Yeah I'm not sure what kind of clasp the Charge has but Charge HR has a regular watch clasp. It is easy to fasten/unfasten.

I like Dave's Killer Bread. It's more expensive and higher calorie (although you can get thin slice) but it is very good quality, tasty, and has a lot of protein and fiber!
-
I would start off higher. Why not eat more and still lose weight? Right now I eat about an average of 1500, but can have weeks where I average as high as 1900. I still lose weight (even at the 1900 average). I'm 5'2" and 189lbs and 27 years old.

I use Earth Balance because I'm vegan but if I wasn't vegan I'd just eat real butter. Fit it in your day somehow! Most substitute products are disgusting.
-
I'm a grad student as well. Feel free to add!

Also, "I'm starting on Monday!"

Apparently people are offended by breasts. I don't know. :-\

I agree. If it's something "off" I'd be worried about doing something so drastic as surgery as you may still be hungry and eventually gain the weight back... You need to fix the root of the problem. I would maybe at least try to get a few other opinions first..

I can always use more friends! A lot of my original friends have unfortunately disappeared :( I will come back to this post later and add some people as well!

Great job!

Yes. I put in similar stats to the Scooby calculator and it gave me a much higher number to lose the same amount of weight. I have been losing weight pretty accurately vs the numbers given by the Scooby calculator so I would say this one is giving a quite high estimate.
-
Why does the number matter so much? If you haven't gained any actual weight but you have been happy with your body at your goal weight, why not make this your goal weight? Weight is just a number, don't focus on it too much. Take a deep breath. This is really not a big deal and if you were happy and healthy at your current…

Blogilates is the best one I know of on Youtube that's dedicated to pilates. But some people don't like the trainer because she's kinda overly peppy. For me it's motivating. You should check it out at least. She has a ton of videos and has a new one every week.

Broccoli... I keep trying to like it since now I'm vegan and it's supposed to be a good vegetable to add to get more protein but I just can't do it. It tastes nasty cooked and raw. -_-
-
I usually take nuts or seeds and buy a diet Coke for a treat. :D
-
I have been eating pumpkin seeds a lot lately as well. They have a good amount of protein too. And delicious! I am vegan and you can add me if you want.
