  • Hey! I'd love to get in on the PIYO challenge group!!! Keep me posted on the details!
  • I'm in!!! • hahaha! that's AWESOME!
  • I do most of my fitness training at home and head to the gym for aerobics classes like Zumba and Step. I love, love LOVE Turbo Fire. It's fun, motivating and a GREAT workout. Turbo Jam is along the same lines only less intense. And I even still like to throw in my old Tae Bo DVDs every once in a while to shake things up.…
  • My doctor has always told me that it's okay to continue the physical activity you're already doing while you're pregnant. She also says to listen to your body as the pregnancy progresses. Following the modifications and removing the jumps would help prevent injury as your joints are more loose during pregnancy and you're…
  • Turbo Fire is my absolute favorite!! For me it's THE most fun of all of the Beachbody workouts I've tried (P90X, Insanity, Turbo Jam)Turbo Jam is a lot of fun, too (and less intense than TF). I found that Turbo Fire is the only program that keeps me motivated beyond two weeks.
  • I agree. A HRM is a great investment. Calories burned will vary from person to person based on weight and intensity. For me, I generally burn at least 10 calories per minute doing insanity. A friend of mine who is heavier burns up to as much as 16 calories per minute. It varies.
  • Hello, Fire Girls!! I was just checking in to see how everyone was getting along! The past couple of weeks have been crazy for me. Started Week 3 today! :-)
  • i would definitely do a hybrid or find another cardio program to do alongside CLX. CLX is awesome but you won't get the calorie burn you do from the intense cardio of insanity.
  • I would totally love to jump in on this challenge for the remainder of the month! Week #2 -- June 11th -- Goal 225 minutes: Mon: 30mins: Turbo Fire - Tone 30 Tues: Wed: 60mins: Zumba class; 45mins: Tae Bo Thur: Fri: Sat: 60mins: Turbo Fire - Fire 60 Sun: Total: 225/225mins
  • Turbo Jam is really fun. Turbo Fire is also great. Doing those workouts typically burns about 10 calories per minute for me. Both of those programs include toning/resistance workouts. The burn for the resistance workouts are less (maybe about 6 or 7 calories per minute) but the workouts are challenging. Chalean Xtreme is a…
  • yea, i totally have two left feet. but i love how Chalene says "Mistakes burn calories", too, so i just keep moving! I'm looking forward to seeing the changes over the next 20 weeks. My cardio has already improved. I can breeze through 60 minute cardio classes at the gym just because it's not nearly as intense as a HIIT…
  • Awesome!!! I'm so excited!!!
  • Well, the Turbo Fire calendar goes from Monday to Sunday so how do u guys feel about starting on Monday?
  • My goal is 1200 or fewer net calories. I find that i HAVE to work out or else it's REALLY hard to stay under 1200. But It works for me so long as I stick to it! I'd say start off at 1200 net calories. Because you're walking twice per day, I think you'll find it's effective! GOOD LUCK!!!
  • Is this still going on? I would love to be in on this if I could! MSG/Add me!! :-)
  • Feel free to add me! We can all keep each other encouraged!
  • I want in!!! I need some accountability with my workouts! This would be great. I'm a busy mommy of four and eventhough my youngest is now a year and a half old, I'm still hanging on to the baby fat and i'm totally over it! MSG me with details!!! :-D
  • The first time I did split squats my legs felt like jello after 10! today i did all 35 and it was hard but i made i through all at once!! yay for progress! Let's make this week a great one, team!
  • I'm gonna do the pygmy this week. I don't know about the five miles. if i have a chance to hit the gym on Sunday morning, i'll try to knock it out then. I really want to stay on track ... my birthday is looming (10/16) and i want to look FABULOUS!!
  • hahaha!! i wish there was video of that!
  • those split squats are KILLER! omg, my legs!!!!
  • Hey, Team! i am not at my house and there is no scale in sight. i won't be able to weigh in til later on tonight. (sorry for the delay!!) my screaming, ornery, teething 11 month old totally threw me off my workout schedule for the past two days ... and i consoled my sleepless self with a calorie-fest ... but i jumped outta…
  • hello everyone! my name is Kerri. I live in Stowe, PA which is a tiny little town about 30 miles west of Philadelphia. (Even people who LIVE in PA have no idea where Stowe is.) I am a mommy of four and looking to (literally) work my behind off to lose the baby weight that i'm still carrying around almost a year later! Last…
  • Ok, for whatever reason I can't get the hang of finding stuff on these forums! Sheesh! How many forums do we have for our team and how do we find them all? I'll pledge some miles toward our total. it'll keep me in the gym for the rest of the week and keep me motivated so i have a good weigh in on Sunday. If all goes well,…
  • Good morning team!!! I am a late-comer to the August challenge. I just joined the team midweek last week. I usually just access MFP from my phone so this is the first time I've been on an actual computer to view the message boards for our challenge. You guys rock! Since everyone else has introduced themselves, I figured I…
