I don't let what anyone else eats bother me. I bake my husband treats all the time. We always have donuts at our house. There is a big bowl of candy sitting on the counter right now. I just don't eat that stuff. I know if I do, I won't make progress.

Go you! You look great!

I am 5'3 and I am 49 years old. I started at 165 and I am at 130. I still have cellulite and belly fat so I am changing my goal to 125. I might change it again after I get there. It took me roughly 4 months to lose 35 lbs but I have changed my plan to 1/2 lb a week. I am running 4 miles, 4 days a week plus I wear a fitbit.…

You look awesome! Good luck with the 5K! I can't wait to run my first one.

Way to go! I can't wait to get there either. Right now I am at about 11:45 per mile.

I have to take 2 potassium pills a day because I simply cannot eat enough potassium rich foods to keep from having leg cramps. I would get leg cramps trying to push in the recliner at home. Now, I am cramp free.

Love this one.

I am jumping for joy inside because I am almost down 35 pounds. I know people notice because it is obvious I have lost weight. I am so happy with my progress that I don't care what other people say or think.

I just ran 4.5 miles at 12 min pace but I just started the Runner's World Beginning running plan in June on the treadmill. I started running outside in August. I like the saying, "I may be slow but I am lapping everyone on the couch."

Walk. If you don't exercise and have to start somewhere, walking is the best answer.

Go you! You look awesome! Congrats!

pinkraynedropjacki, I feel the same way. I just run. I have analyzed why I have failed in the past so many times. Part of it is because I was trying to do what others thought I should do. I hate classes. I don't swim and I don't like doing workout videos. So, I run. I like it. I would rather do this my way and actually…

I have noticed that if I walk 3.8 mph or faster on the treadmill it shows up as active minutes. Slower and I get step credits but no active minutes credit.

Go you! And love the cats!

I have a Fitbit One and I love it. It motivates me to get 20,000 steps a day which is hard for me because I am in a car 8.5 hours a day. I have changed my life so I can get those steps in and get my calorie burn (or close to it). It was just what I needed!

Way to go!

This thread is awesome! I have hope now that I can rid my body of cellulite. SW 165 CW 135 GW 130. I have been running 4 days a week 3-5 miles a day. I have been losing consistently but my legs are full of cellulite. When I get to 130, I am changing things up. I am still going to run but I am adding weights. The change…

I am 48. I will be 49 in October. I am 5'3 and I currently weigh 135. My heaviest was 185. I started MFP at 165. My goal right now is 130 but I have cellulite and belly fat still. When I was in college, I weighed 110-115. My pre-pregnancy weight with both my daughters was 130, so that's my goal. I have carried this baby…
