  • 56. Since I joined. And yep, it does keep me coming back. I don't want that number to reset.
  • What a beauty! Thanks for posting this. The video was very inspirational!
  • cool. I've lost a 10 dozen large eggs! Can't wait for the horse.
  • Sorry for late reply. Its a combination of mental and physical. Half is not having an appetite, the other is just getting lost in my thoughts/day and realizing I haven't eaten. More importantly, not really caring. Idk, it will pass. :-(
  • Thank you all for the advice. I only ask because this is what MFP has been saying to me every night I hit complete log entries: *Based on your total calories consumed for today, you are eating too few calories. Not only is it difficult to receive adequate nutrition at these calorie levels, but you could also be putting…
  • Thanks. Ill try to look up Boost when I go to the store.
  • Off-topic: I live in the wrong country! I'd love to be rent free. Sigh On-topic: Have you thought of visiting a therapist?
  • Hey! I completely understand. Like you I've had all of those feelings. About two years ago my job started having health fairs where you go and get a health check up. I stepped on the scale and realized I was a whooping 224 lbs! I'm 4'11 btw. I made the decision to lose weight. What did I do? Lost about 15, then gave up and…
  • I'm fairly new at this but....I think aiming to lose 1 or 2---which two being the maximum if you're really heavy---would be a better goal. In order to lose 3 pounds, you'd have to have a 10500 weekly caloric deficit. That's alot of not eating or alot of over exercising. I'm sorry I'm not trying to be the Debbie Downer.
  • I'm a 4'11 29 year old female SW: 214 lbs June 1st CW: 202 lbs (as of this morning!) GW: 115 lbs ish? Hoping by next mid-May
  • Hi! I'm 29 with about 90 to lose if I aim for 115lbs. I'm 4'11 so I won't know a 'good' weight until I get there. Feel free to add me (anyone else feel free as well!).
  • I think someone else mentioned: Try finding a way to fit smaller portions of the sweets into your diet? I know I can never give up pizza, ice cream, cake, etc. So I work around it. I haven't had cake in a couple months, but I had pizza recently, and ice cream. And cookies. And a big ol' 500 calorie muffin. Just not in the…
  • Hi, I'm 4'11. I have 90lbs to lose. The unfortunately thing about being short is that every pound stands out. Bleh. Taller people have a lot more space to distribute it over. Feel free to add me (and anyone else as well!).
  • Hi, you can add me. I eat 1500 - 1800 calories depending on how much I burn *when* i exercise.
  • Hi, thanks for the advice all! @terbusha I was doing HIIT and high intensity aerobics normally 20-30 mins for 4 days. Then strength training for 45 minutes one day. But those things apparently was making my body make all types of popping sounds, and I was extremely sore to the point where picking up a water bottle hurt a…
  • We are going in December as well! OP: I will track, however I have no plans to stay within my daily caloric intake. I'd like to track to get an idea of just how much I consumed. Last time we went there was so much walking and other activities, I honestly don't think I'll feel any guilt. Its my daughter's birthday and I…
  • Hi! I added you. I'm 4'11 currently at 205lbs. I'm just enjoying the journey right now. Trying to get to a healthy weight without starving myself or burning out. I've only been on here about a month, but I do log in daily. Anyone else feel free to add me as well! Edit: Can anyone tell me how to center a photo? I tried…
  • Request sent! Hello!
  • That is so hilarious. I laughed out loud.
  • I had no idea I could ask for sauce on the side. Very good info for the future. I would have enjoyed the dish alot more with just the shrimp and pasta.
  • I plan snacks. Even if I have no idea what I'm having for lunch or dinner, I always log some snacks before I eat them. I know myself. I will want them, might as well plan my means around them. So far it has worked out. I eat Breakfast around 6:30, then one snack around 8:30. Then another (maybe) around 10. Then lunch…
  • Two cookies doesn't sound like a lot. I try to avoid eating at catered lunch meetings though, my company always orders the good [read: fattening] stuff. Normally it's pizzas, or from some place like Chipotle or Cosi. Last week there was a tray of Cosi goodies laying out begging me to try it. I ate two whole breads and…
  • Oh yes. I love soft veggies. Thoroughly cooked broccoli, celery, carrots, etc. Its easier to chew.
  • I can't eat white creamy stuff [insert dirty joke here]. It's a mental thing. I think Chicken Alfredo tastes great, but it took me years to even try it because of how disgusting it looks. Same with vanilla ice cream. If it melts too much, I'm done. I'll never psyche myself out enough to try clam chowder. NEVER. I went to…
  • Oddly enough, I actually like water. I pack three 16.9 oz bottles for work. Then I go home and have several more. It's all I drink----aside from tea. ETA: I will say, I find drinking chilled water a lot easier than warm/room temperature water. Tastes better.
  • So incredibly true. We women are fickle characters. I remember telling my to say something to motivate me to eat healthy when I was craving sweets. He said to me: "Lose weight so I can swing you around like they do in the movies". I was so incredibly angry with him! Why, though? I asked for it!
  • I'm going to get in trouble for saying this but: I find a lot of men deluded when it comes to looks. They will be very much overweight with a beer gut demanding a super model wife. I had a co-worker inappropriately complain about his wife gaining weight, but yet there he is with at least 30 lbs of at he should probably…
  • My ex brought me a grill for my 28th birthday -_-. Well intended but um, yea. If your boyfriend said it in a respectful nice way, then just know he loves you and wants you to be healthy. If he said it in a nasty way, well still work on losing weight, starting with him.
  • You look amazing! I, too, am short (4'11). Your boobs lost weight, that's nice to see. Means there's hope for me and my massive mammaries.
