I appreciate the effort you've put into writing that but 3 small meals 3 snacks eating approach for burning fat has absolutely no scientific basis. This is one of the recent studies: http://www.cell.com/cell-metabolism/retrieve/pii/S1550413112001891 The rats on tRF are restricted to nighttime feeding only. If you want to…

I guess you are mostly exercising in the evenings. Have you started this along with your diet? If so, that's probably the reason. while most people have problems with it, on days I exercise late, it's very hard to fall asleep because of higher metabolism.

Cortisol is a hormone released during stress, so the more strain you put on your body, the higher it'll get. However there is a difference between exercise related cortisol and stress(mood) related cortisol. Exercise also stimulates growth hormones, endorphin, testosterone, estrogen, T3, epinephrine, the list goes on.…

I think you're doing good overall, try not to go below 30-35g fat and aim for 20+ unsaturated. 1-2 servings of fruits (berries maybe if you're concerned about sugar) will also do you good as at a quick glance I couldn't see much fruit at all.

I can go 150g of proteins on 1000cal very easily. Carbs I eat are mostly for my own pleasure. So no, I don't think you need any kind of supplements on 1200 cal but if you choose to get more carbs and supplement the protein via powders or bars, that's up to you. But if someone is getting half or more of their protein from…

It seems like you already have a scale and that's the best investment ;) I find it easier and more accurate to stick to grams when it comes to logging food especially with fruits and vegetables. 1 cup of chopped carrots visually makes less sense to me than 128 grams of carrots (two medium sized~). Same goes for measuring…

Why don't you put it in grams? Choose the 100g serving and put 0.56 to the box. 53 grams of watermelon is around 16 calories.
-
#1 It takes around 500 calories for your body to replace that unit of blood donated, by the way.

You can lose weight with anything as long as you eat at a calorie deficit, I was still losing weight while eating 4 Snickers every day (nothing else) but the question is does anyone want to do that to their bodies? I certainly wouldn't do again. Protein is essential to help your muscles regenerate after a workout. I would…

That cake is awesome! Or as R2D2 would say: http://www.r2d2translator.com/audio/9n34d5oatl2q5frof8s5b71dd4_0.MP3 Kudos for the effort you put in that.

Sarah Kerrigan or Satele Shan (SW: The Old Republic), depends on how stuck I get on Kerrigan so Satele is an easy last resort.

Fisher Stevens was in Hackers with Jonny Lee Miller. Jonny Lee Miller was in Mindhunters with Christian Slater. Christian Slater was in Windtalkers with Nicholas Cage. Nicholas Cage was in Leaving Las Vegas with Elisabeth Shue. Elisabeth Shue was in Hollow Man with Kevin Bacon. Argh, I keep tying him to Nicholas Cage.

^This was a good one. Bruce Lee was in The Way of the Dragon with chuck Norris. Chuck Norris was in An Eye for an Eye with Christopher Lee. Christopher Lee was in Season of the Witch with Nicholas Cage. Nicholas Cage was in Leaving Las Vegas with Elisabeth Shue. Elisabeth Shue was in Hollow Man with Kevin Bacon. Norman…

Yes, it makes so much sense to ban people who fight against the difficulties life throw on their paths. Just because he's called Blade Runner it doesn't mean he has cybernetics. As the Olympic Creed goes: I think that man fights well and is an inspiration to everyone. That's the spirit of Olympics.

Colin Farrell was in The Recruit with Al Pacino. Al Pacino was in the Godfather II with Robert De Niro. Robert De Niro was in Sleepers with Kevin Bacon. Kurt Russell.

It indeed is. Take it as the maximum limit for sodium. It's better to keep it around 1500mg.

I have no idea about most of the books on that list except for very mainstream stuff like Harry Potter or Twilight which I doubt I will ever have time. Still I think it's a very weird list to cite teen flicks among some of the sci-fi/dystopia masterpieces. To Kill A Mockingbird The Hobbit The Catcher In The Rye The Lord Of…

I know I know, sorry. I've run into too many undereating young girls lately with little to none to lose :( Try to eat a good protein dish (worth of 40g+) every day. It can be fish, chicken, bacon, whatever floats your boat as I think you're not vegetarian. Have eggs in the morning. Poached, scrambled, maybe an omelette…

I'm sorry, this will be harsh but I'm getting tired of this. You are not eating enough for an 18 year old at your size. Your protein and fat intake is usually very low, pretty much like every teenager on this site. You should be getting twice the calories you do now and more if you are exercising. Sure you aren't likely to…

Exercise, especially weight lifting does cause irregularities in menstruation because of increase in androgens but 3 months late isn't normal. Eating too little, a steep drop in body fat are more likely to cause such an irregularity but I'm not sure if either applies to you. Hope you get better without truvia :flowerforyou:
-
I read about women using stevia with irregular or no menstrual cycle, most say that they got back to regular after they stop using the substitute so indeed that may be the reason.

Hence I said rumored. Once thing for sure is that he's not eating anything less than 5000-6000 while training in the intense endurance schedule.

Eggplant and zucchini can absorb a lot of oil when fried and it's not palatable to pan fry them with little oil. Try them in soup or stew when you feel like you're on vegetable spree, or slice bake them with two-three tablespoons of oil <--- will be similar to frying them.
-
I don't think you are looking at more than 15-20 grams of oil there per serving~ half a cup of zucchini. But since you logged 6 cups of zucchinis (seriously? O.o That's more than two pounds of zucchini!)... Too much fat won't do you any bad for one day, convince your mother to measure with a tablespoon from now on ;) Don't…

:noway: What did you cook in half a cup of oil? I use one to two tablespoons of olive oil while cooking vegetables and that's for a serving size of 6.

At this point you should focus on dropping body fat. Along with turbofire, incorporate some weight lifting (mid to heavy, no light weights) as well while keeping a decent protein intake. You'll shed it faster that way. You may retain water because of intense workout, you may gain a few pounds of muscle mass in the next few…

Good luck and enjoy it along the journey. Once you're enthusiastic and happy about the change, you won't go back to your old lifestyle ever. :flowerforyou:

Michael Phelps is rumored to be on 12000cal diet while swimming 60000 meters every week. If you think 1560cals are too high, think again. Even with no info provided about your weight and height, I'd tell you to stick around 150-200 calories around that number. TurboFire isn't a bad HIIT at all. You'll be burning fairly…

I would pair it with chardonnay or riesling! Oh wait... one can dream. You can try it with parmesan crust or lemon/butter sauce or with mango. You'll probably favor this last option least but it's surprisingly good.
