well that is the thing then - you are likely eating A LOT more than 1200 calories per day.
-
are you weighing everything you eat? very, very, very unlikely a male would be gaining eating 1200 calories/day (since 1500 is as low as a male should go).
-
took a quick look at your diary - while some of your logging looks good, some looks suspect. you have: Toasted Sandwich - Ham & Cheese, 2 sandwiches for 198 calories total. not sure what kind of sandwiches these are, but I can't imagine how two of them could be only 198 calories (usually the bread alone would be more than…

another vote for weighing your food - if you are not, you really have no idea how many calories you are eating. (also, don't put too much weight into the measurements you quoted above - I assume that is from some kind of scale or hand-held device? those are wildly inaccurate)

I had it for MONTHS and it was awful (at one point I couldn't even grip a hair brush it was that bad). had a massage therapist do active release therapy and i swear it was gone within a few sessions. I wouldn't normally believe in that kind of quick fix if I hadn't experienced it myself, but it really worked - look into it.

just about impossible that you are burning 800 calories doing this! where are you getting these numbers???
-
are you weighing everything you eat? it is very unlikely you are putting on muscle mass eating 1200 calories per day and not on a progressive lifting program.

if you are interested in facts and science-based information, you should not be getting your info from advocacy documentaries...Fed Up especially is known as having a lot of BS...here are a few reasons why... https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/does-the-movie-fed-up-make-sense/ here is just a snippet from the website above:…

to lose weight you need a calorie deficit - how much you eat is far more important than which class or DVD you do.

effective at........?

this. a food scale will be eye-opening. try it and report back!

so you are benching 85lbs now when before you couldn't do just the bar? shouldn't you be thrilled by this??
-
I'd had one a couple years ago and loved it, then had one this week and it was awful! did the ingredients change??

This. People use IF to lose/gain/maintain weight - you need to focus on calories.

any creatine monohydrate is fine - I like allmax because it is cheap, but tried lots of other brands and never noticed a difference between brands.
-
creatine is one of the most researched and supported supplements out there (and cheap which is nice!) - take 5g per day. as for the protein, are you lacking protein? that would be the only reason to take protein supplements.
-
if they worked everyone would just take them and be skinny. anything that works is not legal and anything that is legal does not work.

not sure where you go this from but it is not even close to true. I have runner's knee (along with a number of other/related knee conditions) and while I cannot do certain things (i.e. squats, lunges), I can do just about anything else! but as others said, you should get yourself examined by a doctor and find out what the…

what is your calorie goal for the day??? I can't imagine having a goal so high that the only way I could reach it is forcing down food.

my latest favorite...

oops, here is the pic.

this is so confusing - are you sure you have your exercises named correctly? it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever that you could do tricep kickback of 55lbs and not bench 45lbs. here is a pic of arnold doing tricep kickbacks and it doesn't look like he is doing anywhere near 55lbs - the tricep kickback is not normally…

yup - all of this! eating out every/most meals is definitely more expensive than eating at home. there are threads on here about how to grocery shop on the cheap - if your family is truly "very poor" as you say you should look into that to help them out! not eating out all the time will save a ton!

-
it looks like you are not weighing your food (a lot of your entries are "one piece," "one pretzel," "one bar," etc). start there and you will be in for a real eye opener on portion size!

I am eating fiber one right now - but the honey cluster one! delicious!

I'm curious what "limited options for walking" means???
-
was wondering this too...if they are "hidden," would they be....hidden?

find something comparable from a similar restaurant, log that and enjoy your grandmother's birthday!!

was just going to post exactly this! just pulled my frozen meal box out of the garbage to check and it is 670mg or 28% of daily limit. while I'm sure there are ones out there that are closer to your daily limit, it certainly isn't the norm nor is it impossible to find ones with lower sodium.
