The only thing that really annoys me about Quest bars is the fact that most of them contain almonds, which are deadly to me. There are only a couple of flavors that I can eat. I do like those flavors that I can eat, though. I just wish I could try some different ones. Oh well.

I'm about 5'9.5", and was around 230 at my heaviest (though I was very pregnant at the time, lol). When I started here 3 months ago I was about 200, and am down about 20 lbs so far. I usually eat about 1500-1700 calories a day, and my TDEE is a bit over 2000.

Hi Marc. My mom has DDD and early onset Parkinson's so I'm pretty familiar with your physical limitations. She has had the spinal fusion surgery which has helped a great deal. Great job on your weight loss so far.

Since I only had about 35 total to lose, I've been taking it slowly. At the three month mark, I'm down about 20 pounds. I imagine I'll be at 30 pounds lost by November or so.

Some people can be jerks. I remember a friend of mine, a recovering anorexic (she was still underweight at the time), was walking to work, and someone slowed down and threw a cheeseburger out the window at her. I guess some sad individuals feel the need to tear others down to feel better about themselves. Don't pay them…

I'll send you a FR. I can't run (stupid asthma), but I am active in other ways.

Same here. I always "budget" for the odd food craving and it has paid off so far.
