Protein bar as a sole replacement for meal. I do not know about that but that sounds unhealthy. You should eat a healthy balanced diet instead of protein bar: eat vegetable, lean meat, and some fruit. It will benefit you more to eat a real meal. I just started back up again on MFP and would like some friends to gain insight off their successful weightloss. I will of course share mine as well by logging in my food diary of the day, and my exercise as well ^_^

Sprinting, lunges, squats, deadlifts, and Stairmasters will do the trick :) mix it up and the more you get used to the weight add some more weights in there ^_^

When I started working out, it took about a 1 week of not losing anything and the end of the next week. My lbs came off along with avoiding fast food, fried stuff, Sodas, simple carbohydrates, and other unhealthy food options. I started losing weight :).

When I get hungry at night, I eat carrots, celery, an APPLE :), or a Greek yogurt (a combination of two or three usually fills me up). It helps me stay away from unhealthy food choices at night.

There are no difference on what white rice taste and brown rice except for when you cook it. It becomes grainy so in able for me to make it as soft as the white rice. I wash my rice a bit on a pot, put the pot in a heat string of 1 or 2, come back when my rice is half way cooked, stir it constantly, and come back a couple…

I just got Mfp and I am looking for people in Hawaii who logs in here as well. Unfortunately, there is not a lot if us I can find.

I usually do a high intensity interval training. I sprint with an incline of 3.0 with a pace of 7 min a mile or sometimes 15 (maximum incline of the treadmill I am using) with a pace of 9 min per mile. I do it over and over again till I cannot do it anymore. The way I set it up is 30 sec heavy sprinting and 60 sec jogs.
