What are your protein goals in grams? If you're obese there's a good chance if you follow the .8-1g/lb guidelines you have a ridiculously high number that is overkill

I eat about 1850-2K depending on how active I am. My goal is to keep TDEE at around 2500 but some days I don't get there so I give up some rice pudding that day haha

For what it's worth it took me a good couple months to iron out the kinks and inaccuracies in my logging. I promise you it's worth the effort. Once you have solid data that you can rely on you will never again wonder why you're not losing :)

Also this. I mostly just hit the treadmill in the rain but I'm in Ontario and have had 15K steps daily on my 30 minute commute to work. Neck warmer, mitts, a down coat and boots!

Depends. If you're obese then slow and steady. If you're already relatively lean and you're cutting 5lbs the quicker the better (although you may not have much of a choice here lol)

I do PHUL 4x/week and I walk 15k steps every day (so steady state cardio) I don't prefer one over the other but they are both valuable and necessary for my goals (looking good naked)

Based on those stats I'd say you were lightly active. I'd be more inclined to suggest 15-1600. That might help you stay on track this time around too.

If your calories are really low, you might be willing to sacrifice the nutrition for weight loss but would you sacrifice the weight loss?
