Many cheap bathroom scales have a weight limit of 400 lbs. Also some of the scales that use electrical impulses to measure body fat, water content, etc. are widely inaccurate. Some users report a variance of 20 - 30 lbs. I would pick up a simple good old fashion scale like this one…
