I definitely haven't been doing enough strength, I'll do a combo of all three. Increase calories, strength training and cardio.

I was thinking of raising my calories, but in the back of my head I'm worried about my weight staying stagnant. I suppose I'll try it for a few weeks.

My boyfriend is the same way, just think about WHY you're stressing, is it realistic, is stressing over it worth the potential damage to your body. What works best for me is taking a few DEEP breaths and realizing that no matter what happens, everything WILL be okay.

Don't stress! I had a week where I gained 3lbs. I know it's TMI but I hadn't been "going" as often as I should have, plus there was some water retention going on. If you're working hard, it'll show soon. Just keep doing what you're doing.

I find that working out is addicting. When I'm done torching calories and I'm dripping in sweat I feel fantastic. Also after you make yourself work out consistently it becomes a habit and for me I feel odd when I skip a workout.

If I'm already out and not planning to leave the house later I'll get my shopping done, as long as I don't smell horrible, which rarely happens. It's not hard to tell when someone just got done at the gym, so most people probably won't think you look weird.
