Add me! I've been on MFP for almost a year. Lost 20 lbs, met first goal to get to healthy weight, now focused on a few vanity pounds and regular workouts.

First breakfast was a protein shake -- 1 scoop whey isolate, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 banana, 1/4 cup oats, pinch of cinnamon. Second breakfast was a slice of french toast (from my homemade sourdough), 1 T maple syrup, coffee and 1/4 cup milk

Hi! I have PCOS too. It's a challenge but not a deal breaker. You can do it! It's taken me a year but I met my first goal and set a new one. Feel free to add me. :)

Of course it is, unless you're allergic to peanuts. ☺️ Can be easy to mis-judge servings though, so weigh it out.

Edges and corners! A little over done, please. ☺️ I made some yesterday with a new recipe, trying to find new ways to use my sourdough starter. What a disappointment. Now I need to make some just to make up for the bad ones.

Add me! Mom of a 1st grader and preschooler. I cook 90% of our meals at home and practice moderation. I run and lift to feel good.

I've known I have PCOS since before my first daughter was born, but didn't really struggle with it until after my second daughter came along. It's taken me a year to lose, and now I'm 7 lbs from goal, though at a healthy weight. I've tried a lot of things, and we are all different, but here's what's worked for me: 1)…

I believe that the best nutrition for my family is achieved by well-raised, healthy pastured meats in addition to a wide variety of plant items -- many of which we also grow here. :) It is because I believe that, that I take steps to achieve it. Being close to the process does not make me evil. How silly. Animals die just…

Check out FitnessBlender on YouTube. There are tons of free videos. Personally, I have to mix it up or I get bored. I run two days a week (on treadmill when weather is bad), strength two days a week, and yoga one day.

Yes! I would love some new friends! I need a little action in my feed. :)

Are you using a scale? Weigh the serving dish ahead, then weigh it full before you serve. Much faster.

Cook oatmeal with an egg in it. Greek yogurt w fruit and nuts mixed in Make breakfast burritos ahead Muffin (I have carrot apple whole wheat in the freezer right now) and a hard boiled egg. I feel your pain. I'm a mom with a 1st grader and a preschooler and a demanding career. Mornings are tight.

No different than an animal in the wild. Perhaps you should go shoot all the carnivores.

Yes. I've found it pretty seamless.

Vegetarianism or veganism aren't the only ways to choose not to support CAFOs. I raise chickens, hogs, and cattle. The dairy cows experience normal reproductive cycles and births. All of the animals pasture and do the things they were meant to do -- graze, peck in the dirt, roll around in mud. They have lots of really good…

Mmm there are some wonderful ideas here. Love seeing them. I had a leftover blueberry buckwheat pancake and coffee with milk right when I got up, then when the family got up I made eggs and chicken/apple sausages. A couple hours later I had a carrot apple muffin.

I grow my own, too, though they don't pole-dance :) It's sure true they put a lot back onto the land in exchange for all the grass. Heh.

I am on too! Nati_Jean

Oh no way. I plan/shop for/ prepare ONE meal. First, making two meals isn't likely sustainable long term. Second, eating healthy foods and a balanced diet is a positive habit to teach my daughters. I use a pretty basic formula for weeknight dinners that works well: a protein, a green veggie, a fruit or a grain. On nights…

I was having the same problem. I've figured out that if I log my run in RunKeeper (manually, since I'm on the treadmill currently) AND make sure that I have the time for the activity set correctly, it won't double log.

I have both a Breville juicer and a Vitamix for blending. We do use both, but certainly the Vitamix more. While I do agree that the whole food smoothies made in the Vitamix are nutritionally superior to juice, a glass of fresh veggie juice gives an energy kick that even really good espresso can't beat. Also, I can get it…

I find it helpful to purposely make extra protein and veggies with dinners to pack for lunches that week. Then I just have to grab a cup of yogurt and a piece of fruit or similar for snacks.
