I hate the treadmill. I have this fear that I'm going to fall off so I hardly ever put it at the fastest speed that I could possibly do LOL Plus, it's extremely boring.

I just bought me a Polar FT4 and I'm exciting to see what it gives me on the elliptical compared to what MFP usually gives me which I know probalby isn't the most accurate. I ran 4 miles on the treadmill yesterday with the FT4 and it was REALLY close to what MFP gave me. My HR monitor said I burned 595 calories while MFP…

For people wanting some kind of running plan Runners World has an app on the iphone called "Smart Coach" You can enter all your information and it will spit out a running plan for you. It's pretty cool.

I've completed 4 half marathons in the past. I live in TX and would like to run in every major Texas city. So far I have done Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and a smaller one in Irving, Tx. I'm signed up for the Austin 1/2 in February 2012. I was sidelined for a bit, but I just recently started training again last month.

I tried working out in the mornings but I just could not get out of bed....so I go after work. I'd rather get a workout in after work than none at all :)

I have a foam roll, and I rolled my foot on the corners. It hurt like hell, but it was a good hurt and eventually it went away. I believe mine was caused by being a little flat footed and I had these inserts that helped as well. I just needed extra cushion.

I totally agree with you. I used to weigh 300 pounds and I'm down to under 200. Even though people tell me that I look great, etc......that fat kid is always there. I don't know what it is....I'm a confident guy, but its just a mental thing I guess.

I live in Houston and there are like 5 24HR Fitness gyms within 5 miles of me. I go to the gym because I like to GET OUT of the house (or apt in my case). I don't wanna be stuck at home. I also run outside a few times a week.

If you have a 24 hour fitness and a CostCo you can get a 2 year Membership for $300. It comes out to $12.50/month. Can't beat that :)
