I do stained glass and glass on glass mosaics, make bead trees (christmas and bonsai), and I love to knit and crochet oh and in my spare time love to volunteer at my husband's school working with middle school kids doing art projects. Although I will say with the increase in cost of supplies for stained glass I have done…

You can add me also. I have been on a fitness/eating roller coaster for a long time and a couple months ago decided it was time to batten down the hatches and really try to succeed. I have really appreciated the MFP site, it really keeps me motivated.

Thanks for this link. I love Larabars. I havent made these yet, but I have made the Clean Eating Coconut Balls (which are based on same concept) so if portion size is a problem maybe you could make like balls out of them instead of the bars and package them so that you can control the calories. I sometimes find if I port…

Well MFP is a great place to start. I have been using MFP for about 6 weeks and love the message boards and all the tools they provide to help ensure success.

wow that is an eye opener. I have used truvia for a while now, but not often as I usually prefer less sweet things--like my coffee. I use about a 1/2 packet in a 16oz coffee. maybe since i use so little sweetener i should just stick to plain sugar (i actually like succanat). Thanks for the info no more truvia for me.

I totally agree with the karen marie moning books all very good, also recently i have added Ilona Andrews and Devon Monk to my list of good authors. I too have a book addiction, however the supervision doesnt work for me anymore since I have a sony ereader and I can just go to my computer pull up the website and click BUY…

I dont have any hard results to post because I mix up my workouts (I do Brazil Butt Lift, P90x, Turbo Fire and exercise outdoors), but I can tell you every time I do one of the BBL DVDs I feel it!!! Some of the DVDs are fast which count as cardio and some are just sculpting. I think if you try it you will like it.

I drink lots of water. I even have been drinking less coffee by drinking hot water with lemon or orange slices. I also chew a lot of gum (that is probably not so good though). Keep it up though, your body will become accustomed to the lower calorie intake. I was the same as you when I first started journaling my food, but…

Kashi Honey Sunshine--very good and filling. Everyone thinks you are eating Captain Crunch though, lol.

Well if today is it, I am going all sweaty!! Did a 9 mile trail bike ride today and feel GREAT. It is a beautiful day and I plan to enjoy it. Thanks again for all you do on this website and message board. It is keeping me on track and away from my usual "i can think of something better to do" attitude. I have no idea in…

Mio's are great. I like them because you can adjust how much to put in, unlike crystal light or the other water enhancers!! I too am a diet mountain dew person, but i have not had one in about a month.

Brazil Butt Lift by Beachbody is great for all lower body.

great music selection today and what a challenge. Sometimes I get frustrated because I feel like I am not doing all I can to reach my goal and there is nothing better to get you in a better frame of mind than upbeat music!! Thanks.

Having a walking buddy at work does wonders. A friend of mine and I try to walk at least once a day, when we can sync our schedules, and I always feel great knowing that I did something. I also try and take the stairs when I can--yes there are 72 of them and them seem to go on forever when I am going up them.

Yes Welcome. The journey is always easier with people in your corner!! You can add me as a friend if you like.

What a great way to mark your journey.

As I am going to the beach in late July, I would love to join your challenge. I just ordered Turbo Fire and am excited to get started. I also use a pilates reformer which is amazing.

I used diet aids when I was younger, but I totally agree that now, being older and hopefully wiser, I do not think they are necessary. I know quite a few people that chose to go the "quick fix" way and they are no better off today than when they started. I think the greatest diet aid anyone can have is determination to…
