That's fantastic! Great work! :)

Listen to your brother, he's right, all those girls are into you. Go away to art school. Have more fun. Relax about girls. Learn how calories and macros work, it's not about eating clean.

Would you thank a doctor for saving your life or the life of someone you loved? Why? It's their job, right? Same situation here. It's recognizing the tough, dangerous, and scary job these people have to do and recognizing they get portrayed wrongly in the media. People often sign up for the ideals and the greater meaning,…

Would like to say a huge thank you as well! My father was a police officer for 35 years. People really have no idea the life they lead, dealing with the worst parts of society all day every day for years. Constant emotionally charged, serious, stressful, and violent situations. Under funded, under staffed, under thanked,…

Peanut butter and a protein shake would be quick convenient and easy. Just be sure to measure the peanut butter with a food scale :)

You might want to try pre logging your day. It makes it a lot easier to hit your macro goals. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier :) Maybe tuna or chicken for protein. Definitely PB for fat.

On a calorie deficit it will be very hard to gain muscle... it actually takes a lot of work to gain muscle at all. So you won't accidentally become "muscly". Otherwise every guy would look like Captain America. Excersize will help you retain your muscle mass while at that deficit though and result in a better body…

Don't be so hard on yourself! It takes a bit to figure out what works. And part of that is also figuring out what doesn't work. If you haven't already, get a digital food scale.

GI Joe, the best 80's cartoon and toys :)

Definitely double check your enteries. For example, I was using an almonds entry that was off on both its fiber content and calories (ironically it was the only entry I didn't double check) How often do you weigh yourself? Your weight will naturally fluctuate. Weighing everyday can help you track the fluctuations and see…

Do you eat back any of your excersize calories?
-
You should be losing about 0.45kg per week at those setting, as long as you're accurately weighing and measuring your food. The closer you get to goal weight, the more careful you have to be with weighing and double checking entries for the correct nutrition and calorie info. Weightloss could also be masked by water…

Are you weighing EVERYTHING??? Also if you open up your diary you will get more accurate responses as to where you might be going wrong :)

I absolutely love audio books!!! Loving all the recomendations.

Yeah, your logging is off. 0.5 glass of wine isn't very accurate. Use a digital food scale to tighten up your logging. Weigh your food in grams and you should be good to go.

If you find you don't like low carb, there are plenty of successful people on here who lost without low carb.

Don't worry about carbs, but protein and fat are minimums. If you've still got calories, simply eat more to hit your goals. Fiber is also very important and you should try to hit it as well. You can prelog your day to see what works.

This 100% I'm having ice cream tonight!

AWESOME, I'm totally going to check out the podcasts!

Yup. Your weight is determined by how many calories you eat. Eat over the calories required to maintain your current weight (maintenance ) and you will gain. Eat below maintenance and you will lose weight. Eat at maintenance and you will maintain your weight.

I like to pretend I'm a dinosaur and it's little trees. RAWR!! :D

Just wanted to add that it's easier to think of your macro goals as daily goals not per meal ratios. Especially since you're not interested in being an elite level athlete. No point in over complicating it. There's nothing wrong with carbs. They just happen to be this decades scapegoat/fad as fat was the scapegoat in the…

Tracking your calories with a food scale to find out how many calories you're actually eating and what your maintenance (how many calories it takes to maintain your current weight) will help. Eating 500 calories a day above maintenance will add about 1lb per week. But basically eat calorie dense food. Pizza, nuts, nut…

+1 for food scale

How are you determining your calorie intake? Are you using a digital food scale to measure in grams?

Usually a techno or nightcore playlist off YouTube.

You can get wrist wraps. Completely solved the problem for me :)
