Just got back my motivation after being sick with the flu!

^ 100% this!!! You need to be 250-500 calories over your maintenance calories (the number of calories you eat to maintain your current weight)

Yeah, I thought I remembered reading that egg cholesterol does't contribute to cholesterol The only reason I bother going without the yolk is if I can't afford the calories and I usually add at least one whole egg when using just egg whites, for taste and they seem to cook better.

Ice cream <3 Current favorite is Rolo ice cream. It has mini rolo pieces that I "mine" and leave till last, so it's like two treats :)

Minimum. Same with fat.

Listen to usmcmp! She's one of the most knowledgeable people on myfitnesspal.

Looks like 100% broscience. Did she say anything about a calorie deficit, weighing your food on a digital food scale, or how much protein, fat and fiber you should be aiming for per day?
-
You can also meal prep. Make a bunch of meals for the week, so that when you get home, you can just pop it in the microwave. Saves a ton of time.

You're getting excellent advice already. Macros don't have to be hard. You need a certain amount (grams) per your bodyweight. 0.8 grams for protein, 0.4 grams per lb of bodyweight for fat. Fill in the rest with whatever you enjoy. Carbs, more protein, or more fat (fat and protein are minimums, it's fine to go over) So…

Intelligent Funny Stubborn <--although that tends to bite me in the *** in the end

It's impossible to meet your macros with just treats. But you can fit them in here and there AFTER you meet your macros. I didn't believe it would work at first either, but it really does. Also there's nothing better than getting to have abs AND ice cream :) Don't worry, it's a lot of info to take in at first. Just keep…
-
Just to be clear, are you using a digital food scale to measure your food by the gram? It's the only way to be accurate.
-
Congratulations! You look fantastic! :)

Protein and fat are minimums. Meaning your body requires a minimum amount per day based on your bodyweight to function properly. A calorie deficit is the only thing required for weightloss. Low carb is one way to create that deficit, but there are easier ways. (ie simply counting calories). I think there are low carb group…

Set your myfitnesspal settings to lose 0.5 lbs a week, and eat however many calories it gives you. Eat back 50% of your excersize calories (in case they are over estimated). Don't be afraid to lift heavy, you will not become bulky accidentally and without tons of hard work. Lifting will help you maintain your muscle while…

. You should've responded with "you're weaker than I thought!" Don't let an offhand comment make you think you're too heavy! Weight is just a single component out of many. And not really all that important compared to body composition. Don't let a random number on a scale be your goal. But a calorie deficit will lose you…

Clearly bad, with a thin veneer of good girl, that fools most people.

Me too! :D

I can't stop laughing!!! The comments are funny too!

There's a couple options that I can think of. You can look at it as more meeting your bodies daily requirements for protein fat and fiber, in order for your body to function properly you need a minimum of each. Once you meet those goals, any calories left over can be used to incorporate a treat as long as you stay within…

Calories above your maintenance level will add weight. Usually it's around 250-500 calories above maintenance (the calories per day it takes to maintain your current weight). There's a section on the forums dedicated to it too "Goal: Gaining Weight" that might have better responses if you're looking for specifics :)

If you love them, then why would you ever cut them out of your diet? It kind of sounds like you've fallen for a few hyped up fad diet ideas. The whole carbs are bad/anti glutton craze. If you read some of the stickied posts at the top of the forums you can get a better idea of the basics needed for weightloss.

I have to either go to the myfitnesspal website, or mobile site if I'm on my phone in order to read the message. You can also only see their profile/write up/other pics like that too. Not sure if it's the same on the iphone app.

Hahah, beat me to it!

I assume that's why you're his ex, lol.

They come with chocolate bars, neat little mini loaves of bread, peanut butter in a toothpaste tube. It's like the neatest little picnic, lol :D

You mentioned that your diet is pretty clean. That doesn't matter. The number of calories you're eating matters. The only way to accurately measure that is with a food scale. It's the most common error and the easiest to address. Once you accurately monitor your intake you will know if that is the culprit or if you have to…
