  • Women retain water prior to their periods. This can add as much as 2.5kg or 5ish lbs to their weight. It is said to be associated with the amounts of estrogen and progesterone produced at this time. :O)
  • I have problems with my knees from time to time. I really enjoy jogging, but I find when my knees really hurt too much to jog, I go swimming. Swimming is an excellent calorie burner but is really low impact on the joints. Good luck and congrats on losing 23lbs!!! Can't wait till I lose 23 lbs :O) Michelle
