Fage hands down!

Carbs are not bad. No food is bad. Just don't eat a lot of it :D

Binge eating and working the calories off is also an eating disorder. You should get some help. Eating disorders are tough. Binge eating is not normal behavior. (do you purge?) I mean what would you tell someone who is binge Drinking? Good luck. You can beat this
-
I am sorry you are going threw this. Its a terrible place to be in your head and in your life. I would make sure you have a good therapist to help you work threw some of your issues. That said I have Multiple sclerosis. I have severe pain, have been blind, have not been able to walk and so much more. I have had it 22…

well said. I think with media and society people are completely desensitized
-
I agree with lifting but as far as yoga I will let my weight loss speak for itself. I became very involved.
-
Starting an exercise program at your weight is meant to start slow. I Jogged 3 seconds every half mile. I do not agree with you about not eating healthy but I do agree with you about not making the foods you like off limits. There is a balance. I eat what ever I want just not a lot of it. You can do this. You have to…

those are not the usual eye candy hired in fancy yoga places

your goal weight puts your BMI at 18.55 with a BMI of 18.5 being under weight. Maybe stop trying to loose and just try and tone. You are 19 years old. Yoga will help you! It uses your body as resistance to build muscle. There is also power yoga with is cardio. Cross fit is extremely popular being able to lift your own body…

You can not pinch an inch on my body! Yoga helped me get there. It is a good way of toning and burning calories, Its ding dammed exercise isn't it??? Have you EVER seen a fat yoga instructor? Yoga bodies are sexy
-
No not compared to someone struggling
-
I think you hit the nail on the head. Its a definition. Its not a diagnosis. If that glass of whine or two is not effecting you negatively then enjoy and enjoy as often as you please. Heavy drinker is not necessarily a problem :)
-
I would gain on 2009 calories a day. I exercise frequently too.
-
there is absolutely no difference between a glass of wine and an OZ of hard liquor
-
yes very much so. In hot hotha I could stand on my head. DO you have any idea the ab strength that takes?
-
I second this approach! Also you cant always tone away a part of your body that has spent a great seal of time being over weight. I have a lil belly. I wear a size 4 Go yoga go :)
-
I was a lot heavier but I ran 3 seconds every half mile every day and just increased. If you are not 300 lbs like I was I am sure you could do more. Run in intervals. If you can run a 5k you can run a marathon. (I have only done a half) Remember speed is not your goal. Finishing is. It feels amazing to cross that finish…

I would strongly disagree! The not being able to control it is not self control. Drinking that much alcohol changes the way your brain works and alters the stop/ go mechanism. Not stopping is a serious sign. Time to pack it in and get some help

When I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis. I had been a nurses aid in college and I had to lift people who weighed over 300 lbs. I was terrified if I needed help nobody would be able to help me. Now my husband can pick me up easily. Fear can be a powerful motivator

8 drinks IS considered a heavy drinker. Being a heavy drinker in it self does not mean its a problem. There are a whole slew of issues that contribute to heavy drinking. Like everything 8 is just a starting point. The issues surrounding the drinking are more important. If you enjoy a glass of whine or 2 every night I say…

It depends on your goal. I am maintaining so I eat them all back if I can.
-
the language police on this site? With all the silly fad diets I hardly think this is a huge issue
-
Both. Its hard to have one with out the other
-
finding a fitness buddy helped me. Being accountable to someone else helps especially when you are helping each other. Setting goals like a 5k where you need to train (at your own pace) I am sure you could complete one. These things help :)

Yeah rice is a carb. step one learn what a carbohydrate is 4 cal per gram a protein is 4 cal per gram a fat is 9 can per gram Balance it all and eat less then you need to eat to maintain your weight. That = weight loss guaranteed!
-
Carbs are not the enemy, I think that anyone who cuts out a food group to loose weight it setting them selves up to fail.
-
For lasting results you can not diet in a way you can not maintain. It is unrealistic to have to live hungry. Better choices and more activity you can live in a world where you can have your cake and eat it too. Small piece of cake (mos people I see cut slices give you 3 or 4 servings in one piece) Just eat food and do not…

you betcha

Its a little bit more for men then it is woman but your BS flag does not change the facts. Alcoholics do not have to drink every day, Alcoholics do hold jobs. You can be an alcoholic even if you do not drink in the morning and if you only drink on weekends, I just stated these are warning signs and they are

Drinking more than 12 oz of wine (3 drinks) in 2 hrs is a binge. 3 light beers, 3 wine coolers it does not matter that. It might seem like all fun and games now but it is not good for you and can lead to real problems. Especially for food addicts
