why does everyone talk about only loosing water weight. I mean if you drink half your weight in oz of water a day (wich is a good rule of thumb) how do you loose only water weight. I need to look this up I think its a myth. Be happy about the weight you lost. Don't diminish it by calling it "only" water weight.

I am not always hungry and making smoothies helps me get extra protein and calories in. Peanut butter, banana and chocolate protein powder can help me get the added extra in especially when i am training for an event.

I was always told it was genetics and I "was just big boned" Loosing the weight proved otherwise.

If I have to get mc donalds food I always get their oatmeal. I also get egg white sandwiches from dunkin doughnuts

I was a nurses aid when I was in college and I had morbidly obese patients who were very difficult to help. I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis and I realized that when i needed help it would be very difficult for people to help me. I was scared into reevaluating my lifestyle.

As far as chicken I only eat the dark meat and it has had no negative effect on my weight loss or me maintaining it for 12 years

Love skinless chicken thighs and they do contain more iron. Dislike Chicken breasts no matter how tender people say they can get them I always think they are dry and tough even in the crock pot

My insurance company denied me this the excuse they made was that my family history did not go back enough generations! Its crazy they covered my skin removal but would not cover this!!!!

Agreed I still have loose skin on my arms and legs. Insurance does not cover that. but I would rather take my kids to Disney while they are still young. Maybe some day though :D

after a 200 lb weight loss I had to get my extra skin removed. Insurance covered a tummy tuck but I opted for a lower bod lift so Insurance paid 6k and I kicked in the other 7k

full fat cheese, half and half, Fat free yogurt. I choose the lowest fat I can but won't sacrifice taste. Lite mayo or salad dressing but NOT fat free. It all comes down to how things taste
