But you are doing it!!!! Keep going. I started c25k this time last year and running has changed my life! Best thing I have ever done!

Start slow, find activities that you enjoy and listen to your body! I broke my back 3 years ago and have a metal 5 vertebrae fusion. I was told I was lucky to walk and would never run again. I started with swimming, progressed on to walking and for the past year have been running. Drs and physios advised against it, but…

I lost my dad suddenly 6 years ago and I have no idea how I got through those first few weeks, But Worrying about weighing food was definitely not an issue. Please just look after yourself and allow yourself to grieve. It is a tremendous loss! Eat when you are hungry and drink lots... Give yourself time and love…

I broke my back and had lower spinal fusion. I put on a ton of weight over the first year, but have lost most of it this year. I walk and I swim....

I had a NSV last night when I went to Zumba. They had changed rooms and we had to do it in a room full of mirrors. My first thought was horror at watching myself exercise, but I came out of the room feeling good about myself. I have lost weight, I am not where I want to be, BUT I looked OK. Was a really good feeling :-)

Sleepwalking out of an upstairs patio door with no balcony... Broke my back, ribs, shoulder head injury and punctured rib.... Now have a lot of titanium inside me, but very lucky I can still walk!

Zoe from the UK... I have lost 14lbs so far this year, and want to work extra hard to loose the same again in 100 days....... I will continue to do at least 10000 steps daily and am going to start doing more exercise classes, eat within my allowance and focus on eating healthily.

I broke my spine almost 2 years ago, and am (luckily) almost fixed. I am lucky that I am able to walk, as it was a possibility that I never could again, BUT I was told very firmly that I should NEVER run again. I don't know if that applies to you, But I used to run, before I broke, and have tried a few times since, but my…

If you hate smoking, then stop!? I smoked for 23 years, but hid it from family. I read the book 'how to stop smoking' by Alan Carr, finished the last page and never wanted a cigarette again. It just seemed so easy. I didn't like smoking. so I just decided not to do it anymore. Best thing I ever did.

I had an accidental 'cheat day' yesterday... I had a big family dinner and ate a bit too much, but still under my calorie goal for the day (just), but then when making the kids tea (Heinz tomato soup and toast) I decided to have a little bit.... Which was so lovely, and not something I would normally eat (white bread), I…

Feel free to add me. I did really well on here, but then fell and broke my back and piled on the weight and then some.... But I am more or less fully recovered, and eager and determined to loose all my excess weight (again...) Be great to have some friends to motivate and encourage each other x

I crushed my L1 vertebrae just over a year ago and had instrumental fusion surgery for 5 vertebrae. This year has been tough, I basically had to learn to walk again, and am now heavier than I have ever been. My surgeon told me the same- just listen to your body. Swimming was the best exercise ever- I hated swimming before,…

I juice for breakfast everyday and that enables me to consume more vegetables and greens than I ever would eat in a day. I love it and I feel full and have loads of energy until lunch

Hey, Also pigged out over Easter... Just couldnt resist the chocolate eggs, but now kids are at their dads for a week and I am determined to get back on track, loose the stupid pounds I have gained and start exercising again.
