That is a great idea! I would love to lose 50 lbs as well but that number is a great long term goal, not so much a great short term goal. If I can lose at least 1 lbs a week I would be happy! Good luck on the next 5 1lb!

I am 34 years old 5'2" married with 2 children looking to lose 50 lbs. I am on day 20 of MFP. I don't like using the scale but I know I was around 220 lbs when I started and my close are much looser now. I am always looking for motivational buddies! This is my second go with MFP. Early last year I lost around 20 lbs then I found out I was pregnant with my second child. I gained that weight back plus more. I found MFP to be extremely helpful and great support on its own. My husband is very supportive of my weight loss even though is perfectly happy with my weight now…
