I don't see anything wrong with a protein shake as a meal substitute. However I tend to turn mine into more of a smoothie than a pure protein shake. I like hemp seed powder protein - it's high in omega-3s, fiber and protein. You can get it at Trader Joe's, but my favorite is Nutiva brand. I usually add some frozen berries…
