I use to never drink water. If it wasn't black I didn't drink it. Now I almost have to have it or I feel dehydrated or sluggish. I agree making sure it has ice in it works. I drink it much easier when it's ice cold and the same with my green tea. I don't put anything in either one of them other than ice. I haven't really…

I gain about a pound or two around a few days before I start that time of month and then lose it a few days after I start. I continue drinking a lot of fluid and doing my normal exercises and it tends to keep things in check. By the time it's over, I am right where I started before that time of the month came around.

I eat carbs, been eating carbs, not stopping carbs. Yaaaay carbs!

If you go over, exercise them off.

I eat what I want, I just do it in moderation. I eat more veggies and actual meals than I use to so that is an improvement. I will say this though, any diet I have ever been on before has never worked for me because it was too restrictive. If others can stick to a no this and no that diet and actually be happy, then I…

Amazing job and good motivation for those who feel they are slacking a bit (me lol). Keep up the awesome job!

I've been losing on average about 7 lbs a month for going on 6 months give or take. That's not bad at all. Keep in mind, you didn't gain it overnight and you aren't going to lose it overnight. Your weight loss will happen. You will have days when you are frustrated and disappointed but as long as you push past those…

I haven't cut anything out. I eat whatever sounds good, I just don't eat as much of it.

Every body has their own struggles and since we don't what their struggles are, who is anyone to judge. It could be illness that causes weight issues and even medications that cause it. It could be they aren't in the correct mental frame to get going. Fat or skinny, it has happened forever, and most likely won't stop…

I have absolutely no clue. I log the amounts I should be eating when I make my menu out. When I eat, I get too full and can barely finish it. Then I have to change my menu to the correct amounts that I actually ate, and I am lucky to make 1200 rather than the 1400 I have set.

If there is one thing I have learned over the years it's that we teach people how to treat us. I got rid of the toxic people in my life. If they aren't helping then they are hurting. Sometimes you just have to delete people you care about out of your life. Doesn't mean you don't care about them, it means you care about you…

I love love love row machines. I wish I had one. I would be on that thing constantly. It may burn calories, which is good, but I like doing it just for the fun of it.

Their comments are more about themselves than about you even though the comments are directed towards you. They certainly aren't going to point out their own faults so they point out other people's faults. So what you had a muffin, you can afford to have one because you have worked hard to get where you are now and one…

Try having 2 in one month. I am 45 and going through the menopause thing. Sometimes I have two in one month (like this month) and not getting frustrated is next to impossible. Makes for a bad month on water retention and wanting to eat everything trying to find something to satisfy a craving and you can't put your finger…

Usually we eat the same dinner but at breakfast I usually have two over easy eggs cooked in pam with a piece of dry toast and he has 2 ham, egg and cheese on toast for breakfast sandwiches. He is usually gone at lunch so that is good for me. Dinner, we compromise on things. Sometimes I adjust a few things for myself but…

I drink a lot of tea and honestly, oatmeal helps with cravings especially if you put fruit or maybe some dark chocolate chips in it. At least it does with me. I know a lot of people don't care for melons much but a cup of canteloupe is like 50 calories and I am always full feeling after and it helps with the sweet tooth…

Works a lot, enjoys his biking for stress relief, keeps busy outside of work and has a lot of friends.

Men are certainly not the only one who has this issue. It isn't a gender thing. If you really want to go that route, women will accept a bigger man long before a man will accept a bigger woman. Big men are viewed as strong or whatever, big women are viewed as lazy and sit on the couch watching oprah and eating bon bons and…

I love my fruit but I don't think I could live off of just that. Too many other things would be missing and would be unhealthy. You need protein and grains and an assorted amount of other things to be healthy.

I was never a fan of sports bras because to me, it seems like I end up looking like I have one big boob in the middle instead of 2 where they are suppose to be. :o I am starting to get old lady saggy boobs and still haven't found one I like that takes care of the whole shabang lol.

I'm with you. I am proud of the little I have accomplished so far but sometimes I just get tired of feeling my life revolves around nothing but food and exercise. Weighing and measuring and passing up things I want because it isn't in my calorie goal, hating going out with people because I don't enjoy them because I am too…

I don't stick to restrictive diets. I stick to my calorie goals I have set as best I can, keep a deficit as best I can, and try to stick to 30 minutes or so of cardio. I log everything I put in my mouth every day. I agree healthier type foods are the better way to go, but, healthy isn't always in the budget and I am not…

I weigh every morning and log it every morning before I do anything else. I am aware of weight fluctuations happening but for me, it either motivates me to do better or it excites me when I have done well. A lot of people don't agree with weighing every day but I need to have a way to hold myself accountable and to be…

I do 30 minutes of vigorous step ups and burn almost 600 calories for my weight I am at now. You lose weight at a deficit, exercise only speeds it up a little plus it's just good for you whether you lose weight or not.

I eat whatever I feel like eating. I just don't go over on my calorie goal and sodium and I exercise about a half hour to an hour after dinner. Last night I had McDonald's for dinner and woke up with 1.8 lbs lost this morning. Works for me. I know, clean eating is better but that is something I don't feel like I can stick…

I never allowed my kids to drink anything caffinated. I would be paying for it later with hyper kids who were hyper already. That's never fun for me. They had juice, milk and water. They just got use to it and would ask for one just to test me every now and again, but gave up after they figured out No means No.

I have been having this same issue myself. I have found that going out and having a good time with your friends every now and again is a good thing. It keeps you connected with the people who care about you. You are the one on the diet, not them. I use to get upset that I was going to gain my weight back and then turn…

I can say that when I was at a stall, I bumped my calories up from 1200 to 1400 and that is when I started losing again. I also find switching up my exercises and causing some muscle confusion made a huge difference. Everybody is different but this is what helped me.

In our house, he keeps all the junk in the office. Cookies, candy, cakes, ect. I look at it as his and not mine and that seems to make a difference. I would feel like I was stealing from him if I took any of it. I ask when I have the calories to have them and he dishes out the amount I can have according to my calories I…

I drink mine plain. I find that drinking it ice cold tends to kill some of the taste you are talking about. I haven't noticed it boosting any metabolism but it works wonders for water retention as much as you have to go to the bathroom when you drink it.
