How do I handle back handed compliments..... I don't. Whatever opinion or thoughts they have, I cannot control. I just say thank you and let it go. You teach people how to treat you. If you present yourself as a confident person, the backhanded compliments just roll off your back and they don't get to win. A good bra helps…

I don't use a digital scale for food. I got a cheapie one from Walmart for like 5 or 10 bucks and been using that. I am losing weight just fine.

I don't always like keeping track of every single thing I eat myself but not doing that to begin with is what got me in the mess I am now. That's where that "you play you pay" motto comes in. I may not like weighing and measuring everything and pushing back things I really want at times but I don't like being out of shape…

I tried nutrisystem once or twice. I don't know how their food is now, but when I tried it, it tasted terrible. I like just eating what I like and staying within my goals and exercising regularly. Seems to work fine for me.

I get all my protein from things like chicken and peanut butter and other meats and some of your fruits like strawberries have protein though it isn't a lot but it's natural and good for you. I have not tried protein powders or shakes but I haven't had a problem with getting my protein goals and tend to go a little over on…

Gotta love that feeling. I fit in clothes now that I haven't fit into well for 2 years. Actually they fit better than when I bought them. Congrats to you!

It's possible but not recommended. You may quick results of weight loss but you will also be more likely to gain it back just as quick and then some. Slow and steady wins the race.

I don't go to a gym. I do all my exercising at home. I never liked the idea spending a bunch of money for something I can do for free at home. I am just cheap like that lol.

Some reverse crunches may help. I have started doing those myself. Youtube has videos of how to do them correctly and you definitely feel them. It will still take time to get rid of or at least lessen the loose skin.

I have been on a plateau for the last couple of weeks myself. I did, however, bump my calories up by 200, started some new exercises to cause some muscle confusion, and started exercising after dinner. That seems to have broken my plateau at the moment. Don't give up on this. It's frustrating for sure, but if you keep…

1200 was fine for me for a couple months until I started getting dizzy and feeling bad and getting headaches. Then I upped my calories to 1400 and I don't have that problem anymore and I am actually starting to LOSE more weight now. I had hit a plateau for a couple of weeks which was frustrating for me. So now I get to eat…

I smoke as well but I also know that for me personally, I can't try to do too many things at once when it comes to life changes. I know that losing weight right now is my main focus and if I incorporate trying to stop smoking at the same time, I would just be setting myself up for failure on both accounts. I would be…

There is a reason why it's 35 years old and not being used. It is a fad that doesn't work. People drive me nuts trying to find loopholes for weight loss to get out of putting in the work and effort.

I just exercise an hour or so after dinner and I don't worry about it. I sleep like a log and find in the morning I have good news on the scale most of the time. You still have the water retention and so to have to consider but it works for me. I usually have dinner around 6:30 pm.

For me it's a matter of being honest with myself and not making excuses. I get up, and whether I feel like it or not, I get off my rump and do something. I remind myself by looking at pics that I have of myself and think, this is not the real me. Sometimes there is nobody around but you and the only motivation you get is…

I think pilates is great. Helps me with cramping. You could try that and make sure to drink plenty of water to help with water retention.

I am about your height and the average healthy weight to be is between 107 and 135. So 110 would be on the really thin side but not unhealthy. I myself think 120 is about perfect but that is just me.

I don't really care for fad diets. They never work and if they do, as soon as you stop, the weight comes back and then some. I would rather eat sensibly and exercise. There is no getting around putting the work in you need to do to lose weight. It's about self control, self discipline, and not trying to find loopholes to…

I would go talk to your Dr. I will say though that I have water retention problems myself at time and I find drinking green tea with no sugar or sweeteners helps me a lot. Don't let the sweeteners fool you. They may have no calories but they still cause water retention. At least for me it does.

I eat bacon almost every morning, and I'm losing weight. It's all about your calorie budget. Life is to short to go without bacon. [/quote] This a million times over

No matter how thin I am I have always had big thighs. It's genetics for me. Most of the women in my family all have wide hips and big thighs. I do find that doing side leg raises where you have your top leg crossed over in front of you, now those things will definitely help with the inner thigh area. You feel them after…

I started her videos 2 months ago and I love them. I went from no exercise to being able to do 5 miles of walking now. I just kind of got a little burned out doing them so I am switching up exercises for a bit.

Wear what ever makes you comfortable. You are there for you, not everybody else.

I got a simple scale from walmart for like 10 bucks. It's been working fine for me. You don't need expensive fancy items to take care of what you need to do. The digital scale is nice but if you can't afford anything else or don't want to spend much money on it, you can improvise. Something to help you weigh is better than…

I have been trying on clothes that weren't fitting a couple months ago. I couldn't even zip or button my pants. Now they all fit like they are suppose to. My shirts fit better than they did as well as my dresses I haven't been wearing. It's like having a whole new wardrobe of clothes.

I tried that diet of eating nothing that was white for about 3 months. I stuck strictly to it the whole time. Not a thing happened other than me getting irritated about not having things I liked. It was too restrictive for me and no weight loss. I prefer the everything in moderation method. That works wonders for me.

I don't pay attention to the net. I eat my calorie goal and as long as I don't go over on 300-500 calories burned I just leave it at that. I am not overly active except for the exercising so it isn't a big deal to me.
