I set my FitBit up to sync with MFP. I use Fitbit for calories, steps, active minutes and MFP for logging food. I let MFP dictate my calories and it shouldn't put you below 1200. Through the day, I've allowed "adjustments" so FitBit can talk to MFP and help me eat the right amount. You're right 700 - 800 is WAY too low.

I've just started on here too and find the few friends I have made make my experience much better. It is GREAT to share this with other people. I'm in a 30 Day Shred Group and find the support there helps too. What a great environment! x.

I got mine a week ago and it works great. I log food here and let my exercise/calories etc. update from Fitbit. As soon as they're talking to each other - you will see it works great. Updated for typos.
