what works very well for me is a) doing 16:8, b) having a tasty and predictable diet and c) using low calorie sweets. i really love those big portions i get from eating only 2 meals a day.

my favorite low calorie sweet is water ice. it is a 40 ml liquid tube, 90% water, 10% sugar and has 16 kcal. here in germany it comes in lemon, strawberry cherry, cola, woodruff and peach and is rather cheap (1,80€/l). i put them in a freezer and eat ~3 per day. you could fit 6 of these babies into 100 calories.

i know its juvenile but i can't help but chortle about the amount of people writing "i am a slow loser" in here.

I'm right between sizes S and M so i can either have it a bit too tight or a bit too loose.

Why should it get (noticably) harder to lose weight as you get lighter? I've seen that statement multiple times now and i don't understand the rationale and personally, i can't confirm it at all.

It helps me to be strict about my eating patterns. I eat twice a day, between 12-14 o'clock and 19-20 o'clock, nothing before or after.

sundays. weekend makes the most sense to me because i can have a rest day before and take my time measuring (weight, body fat(caliper, tape)) and documenting everything in mfp / excel.

I'm using water ice to indulge my sweet tooth. They are 40 ml (1.3 oz) and have only 16 kcal (4g sugar, rest is water). Especially now in the summer i eat them daily. Sometimes even 3 per day, which are still under 50 kcal total.

i have been consistently losing 1kg per week at 1200 net calories for 6 weeks now (from 84kg to 78kg). during this time i have improved my fitness (ran 15km yesterday, doing 30 pullups daily and 300 pushups every other day) and seing great results in my physique. 1200 works very well for me. P.S.: This is as a 6ft male.

chocolate chip ice cream. damn you.

weight loss is mainly nutrition. log your food. i eat twice a day because it simplifies my diet. look up intermittent fasting, it is said to have a couple of benefits, though increased weight loss is not one of them.

try avocado creme: pinch of salt + pepper pinch of lemon avocado creme cheese or cottage cheese garlic then use as spread

my breakfast lately is this: kcal 991 carbs 79 fat 36 protein 83 fiber 19 sugar 9 consisting of 3 slices of whole-grain bread with cottage cheese and tuna/turkey plus cucumber and tomatoes. 2 eggs as "dessert". our store also has "protein bread" which could bump up that 83 to at least 93, not quite sure exactly.

I've lost 6% in one month by losing 1 kg per week. went from 84 kg (21%) to 80 kg (15%). I used measuring tape as well as 3-fold and 7-fold caliper readings. I'm sure more is possible though it obviously depends on your weight.

20 lbs in 2 months is steep but doable. I am currently losing 9 lbs per month but if i didn't exercise 40-50 minutes every day (which bumps me up to ~1750 kcal) I'd have to stay under ~1250 kcal per day, which is a pitiful amount of food (at least for my 182cm, 80kg and my taste). Anyway, you'll have to cut around 1150…

Hey, my situation was very similar. Jogging 6 days a week my left knee started hurting pretty soon. I realized that doing a form of HIIT (running at max speed for 30 seconds, then walking for 60-90) did, for some reason, cause me no knee pain. So i started alternating jogging on one day and HIIT on the next, sometimes…

Try intermittent fasting (e.g. eat only between 12 pm and 8 pm) and drink lots of water. Eat less calorie dense food.

Apply your custom goals again. I had something similar where the calculation was off. Also make sure you've got the right amount of calories set, not left off a digit by accident. If you didn't, change it one calorie up or down to make sure it recalculates.

Same here. Plus i eat the same basically every day so there's really no reason for it to be off.

Anything from 70 kg upwards can look really good. E. g. Brad Pitt (180cm) at 70 kg in Fight Club. If you want to look really muscular but still lean i think "height (cm) - 100" is a good goal to aim for. In your case (183cm), that'd be 83 kg, which is pretty much Brad Pitt in Troy. I'm 6 foot at 82 kg (18% BF) and…
