  • I really like T25 as it fits into my lifestyle a lot more (2 kids, hubby and a home daycare). I thought Insanity was too long and too hard on my body. T25 is perfect for me; I have done a lot of circuit training over the years (Army life), and his is by far the most motivating while engaging the entire body. I do think you…
  • I am on my 8th week of T25, and I couldn't figure out why I was losing inches (44 inches over 11 measuring sites on my body), but not pounds. I just wasn't eating enough, and my body was thinking it wasn't going to get any extra calories (fuel) so it was holding on to what it already had. Try eating 200 extra calories - I…
  • I typically exercise 5 to 6 days a week. I do the T25 every morning and then a walk in the afternoon. On a Saturday, I go hiking or swimming, and then I rest on Sunday with just the stretch video. Your body really needs a day to rest so the muscle fibers can heal and grow. I also take Midol for any additional bloating or…
  • I have found that when I suddenly do an intense workout, I also gain weight because our bodies automatically send water to the muscles to try and protect them. You need a few rest days for your muscles to repair and the water to recede. I have also found that if I don't eat enough calories (was hitting 1,300 a day) then my…
  • Way to go, InfiniKitty! That is very motivating. I am on Week 8, Day 3, and there are still some moves that I have to modify. Most often, it is not because I am too tired, but because the moves are awkward to me. Like all of those twisting lunges progressing down to the floor during Core Cardio. I initially also had a hard…
  • Finished Rip't Circuit today...the last part was tough because of the upper body portion, but I have to agree that it wasn't as all -consuming as Total Body Circuit. I was still feeling the effects of Speed 2.0 - killed my hip flexors/abductors/adductors - so I wasn't quite as into today's workout. Okay, to be perfectly…
  • I think it is because the pound of fat is being replaced by the pound of muscle, hence the loss of inches. Try to think of every inch lost as a pound lost. That helps me when I don't see the scale move.
  • You were so right, InfiniKitty! The loss of inches and overall strength is way more important than the number on the scale. Just finished Speed 2.0. Wow. Just wow. That was great! Very similar moves to Alpha, but at a much higher intensity and tempo. Loved it!
  • As this is the end of Alpha cycle and the 5 weeks, I want to take a moment to look at the bigger picture. At the beginning, my waist was only 1 inch smaller than my bust. Now, it is 5 inches smaller. My hips used to be 5 inches bigger than my bust, but now it is only 1 inch bigger. My pouch/handles used to stick out 4…
  • Thanks so much! I tried to double up on TBC and Cardio last Wednesday and then TBC and Lower Focus on Thursday before the big weekend...but that didn't work! I started getting pain in my right knee from an old bursitis injury sustained in basic training, and knew I had to hold off on the Lower Focus...got it done yesterday…
  • I just finished the Week 5, Day 1 workout, and I have to say that Total Body Circuit is getting a bit easier. Now, I know the moves, and I can push myself to finish each one (still struggle on the oblique push-ups and 180-degree jump, though!). I measure myself/weigh on Mondays instead of Saturdays, and I lost another 2…
  • Your body may be in starvation mode because you are not eating enough calories. I would do some research (CDC, online medical journals) to get more information. I know if you don't drink enough water, your body will retain what water it can and that is why people get bloated. Their bodies are retaining water. The solution…
  • So...have a problem. Next week is my last week of Alpha, and it is the dreaded Total Body Circuit three times! We are leaving on Thursday for my parents' house, and it will be hard to do the workout there at the family reunion. So, I am thinking of doing TBC and Cardio (Thursday's workout) on Wednesday and then Friday's…
  • The two things that have worked really well for me are interval training to reduce fat and build muscle (can't do steady-state cardio as it makes me nauseous/vomit) and Raw Meal Garden of Life meal replacement. I went from going back and forth between diarrhea and constipation to no longer worrying about it at all! It is…
  • I have only lost 4 pounds since I started, but I have lost about 28 inches all over my body. I notice my muscles now when I didn't before, and I notice how simple movements...like taking a gallon of milk out of the fridge, makes my biceps move, etc. It is amazing how I just forgot about my body, or took it for granted,…
  • Just finished the Abs and Speed 1.0, in that order...and I am drained! I drank my protein replacement meal, and am waiting for it to kick in...that was no joke! At the end of abs, I looked down and saw my reflection in the puddle of sweat I had accumulated. Craziness! I usually love Speed 1.0, and bounce through it, but I…
  • Hey, is it better to do the Abs first and then Speed 1.0 or the other way around on double Friday to get max calorie burn?
  • I just did it for the second time this week (in alpha, 4th week), and you know it's hard when the next day's schedule is Abs and Speed 1.0...and you think to yourself "oh, that will be much easier"! LOL! Ah, three times next week! Went to do the plank walk at the end of the program and found my hands in a puddle of sweat…
  • That is a really great tip! I didn't think about not eating enough. Some days, I am just not hungry anymore, and will have the meal replacement for both breakfast and dinner with some cheese/nuts/fruit/veggie, etc., for snacks. Last night I just cup up two baked chicken tenders with a light ceasar dressing romaine…
  • Hi all, I put this on a different thread, but only heard back from one person and then someone trying to sell me beachbody coaching.... Please let me know if you have any advice! So far, I have lost 5 pounds, and 28" over 11 sites on my body. Any help would be great! Hi everyone, I am a former Soldier and now stay-at-home…
  • I love T25 because it is only 25 minutes, and it gives me fast results in inches lost and more strength! I have lost 27 inches over 11 sites on my body in just 3 weeks! I am heading into week four, and my energy level is great. I also take Raw Meal replacement every morning to boost my protein intake and I have positive…
  • Oh, and I got this to track my body fat, water weight, muscle and bone mass... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CZPF5L2/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  • Congrats!!! That is really great! I can tell I have gone down from a size 12 pant to a size 10...everywhere but my inner thighs. They have only decreased .75 of an inch! While my thighs have gone down 2.5 inches!!! What gives? It is so strange. I have had so much energy from doing T25 in the morning, plus the protein…
