Several times a day, I find it fascinating. My lowest is when I first get up in the morning and this is the one that I record if there have been any changes. During the day my weight increases and is at its highest when I go to bed. Then, it is down again when I weigh in the morning (after I've used the toilet). I like…

It surprised me when I started counting and logging how few I could eat just by cutting my pasta and cheese portion sizes, and by eliminating the evening packets of chocolate biscuits. I'm 5'6 although not very active and average 1350 calories a day. If I exercise I eat more, I think sticking to 1200 would be hard for me…

Vegetables! My diary is open and my average daily calories work out at 1350. If I get hungry I just eat a small amount of something else.

Mine is open but I don't eat healthy or anything.

Height: 5'6 Start weight: 146 Current: 136 Goal: 120 I don't work out or exercise (other than short brisk walks) but am planning to join a gym in October for some toning.

I suppose 7lb spread over a whole body wouldn't show much. It would be better if we could lose 1lb from each arm and leg and 3lb from our tummies. I've gone from 146 to 138 but no-one has noticed and it certainly doesn't show when I'm dressed.

Ah that makes sense, thanks. I'll not be in such a rush to bung hot food on the scale in the future.

Before I was finally diagnosed and treated (Drs were reluctant because my bloods were just about still in range) I would sometimes sit down for a rest on the stairs because I didn't have enough energy to get all the way up or down in one go. Now I'm treated I always run up the stairs (why walk when you can run?). The fact…

I am also always under with my protein. I logged for a while a year or two back but worried about the protein and started supplementing with protein drinks and bars to try and make the numbers work but it didn't really work for me and I gave up logging. The calories I have cut out due to logging are chocolate, biscuit and…

Ah okay thanks. Would really love some tips on getting protein up. I've never eaten meat (30+ years) and while I like peanut butter, cheese and nuts there's only so much of the stuff I can eat.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Logically thinking, if I had hyponatremia I would probably have symptoms, the fact that I don't probably means I am getting enough. However, it will be something I consider next time I'm feeling especially tired, achy and headachy.

Am I? Gosh thank-you, always assumed my diet was bad because of the pasta and cheese. Thanks for your comments, I have gone and swapped some of the entries for options with more nutritional information but am now aware that there is probably more hidden salt than I'm seeing. Yes! I knew they were important and was aware of…

Haha, thanks. When you say junk food, do mean ready meals? I do have them sometimes. And I do eat biscuits from time to time. I could eat more crisps. Or popcorn and put salt on it. The reason I'm thinking about it now is that I've probably always had a low salt diet, I'm not doing anything really different. I'm being…

Thanks for all the info, my diary is unlocked if you'd be willing to take a peek and offer any tips.
-
Ah of course, hadn't really considered that. Going to check now and update any that need updating. Thank-you.

I gave up meat before puberty and have never really had a healthy diet (I'm working on that now). Whenever I've had blood tests my iron levels have always been low (working on that too now). Despite that I've always had regular periods and have two children. I'm no expert though and maybe a sudden change in diet could…
